Worst response to a pic

Have you ever spent time over taking a secy pic, sent it to someone, and had a totally underwhelming response? Like a thumbs up emoji or something? If so, did that person get dropped/blocked as a result?

I'm curious to hear people's stories!

.

Yep.

I was once dating someone who had a real thing for latex. Bought some latex underwear, thought I'd send him a glimpse of it in a photo of it as a little hint about weekend plans. He not only thumbed up it, he then excitedly proceeded to tell me about someone else's photo. In latex. On here.

Yeah, I didn't date him for that much longer after that. One date maybe? Without the latex

I'm not the jealous type but if all I can muster is a thumbs up in someone and they're busy slobbering over another, I'm mentally checking out.

Yeah the thumbs up was bad enough, but to then talk about someone else's pics?? Ouch

"Worse response is no response "

Had that a few times on here, after sending pics they go quiet. I don't let it bother me, it just means I'm not for them, and move on.

Wherever I lay my hat

Only once. We had met a number of times and I Whatsapped him what I thought was a little mid-day treat at work. Video of a me engaging in some real time self love in a risky place. His response was "Ha ha. OMG". There wasn't an emoji in sight. His explanation was that he replied too quickly as he was concentrating on his work. Not an adequate explanation IMHO. We never met again.

How about you OP? Spill.

Sometimes I send a pic to get constructive criticism, sometimes I just send it because I like or, sometimes because it’s absolutely shockingly bad and I can’t believe the sheer depths of terribleness.

Whichever it is, yes, I expect a comment, and no a thumbs up would not suffice.

I would not be concentrating on work if you sent me something like that

As for me, mostly it's just the Fabbers who don't respond or say "not my type". I can't say I've had bad responses from ladies I've already met. I realise this makes me sound like a bigheaded bellend

I love it when a pic I think will look hot comes out looking cringey. I'm never brave enough to send them to anyone, they get deleted immediately!

And yeah, the thumbs up is just another way of saying "I don't like this, so I'll just send an emoji instead of writing something I don't agree with, and hopefully you'll just go away"

I love it when you

a) make a rare appearance on the forums

b) flirt so succinctly with me.

So would.

No because I've never done this. I don't send pics to people I've never met. That's what my public pics are for.

If I send a pic to someone it's because I already know the positive reaction it will get

Ah ok, sorry I should have realised you were talking about social media. Did they give you another chance? Surely your profile pic shows what your body looks like??

Yeah, odd responses are almost to be expected when sending to strangers, I'm talking about people you have met, who for some reason don't appreciate being sent hotness by their fwb/partner etc

Plymouth, South west

I get emoji responses a lot from hound when I send him cheeky pics, although a thumbs up would be a bit of a kick in the teeth lol...

I aim for hot, aubergine, love face or wet emojis as a real compliment... but the ultimate compliment is a naughty pic back
