There is probably a higher percentage of alternative folk on this site than you'd meet out there in the real world.

It's sort of self-selecting out those who are too normal.

yeah i get call alt at times and hubs for just liking the rockabilly/psychobilly splash of punk metal ska blues alt country scene the house is full of vinyl cds cassettes vhs dvds all to this scene as is parts of the wardrobe ..

but would never call ourselves alt for liking decent music and both having tattoos is the a alt scene anymore when everything is the norm now anyway and no one bats a eyelid

I love women with Tattoos, coloured hair piercings and curvy they are the best. Just need to find oneand if they are into bikes and metal music even better.
