Commonly misused words on Fab

I'll go first: "discrete", meaning separate or unconnected. Commonly misused on Fab when the writer actually means "discreet", which means self-restrained or tactful.

Married men or in a relationship with a woman can be cuckolded Not single men who just want to watch a couple play and perhaps have a three some.

. I only mod the forum.

They do make me twitch a bit but I have family members who really struggle with reading and writing for various reasons. I tend to think as long as I understand the meaning it's fine.

My grammar can be a bit dodgy, I never did master the difference between a colon and semi-colon.

I was tempted to take a marker pen to the greengrocer's sign I saw recently advertising 'asper grass' though

Lol. To be clear, this wasn't specifically aimed at spelling and grammar, more about when people use words wrongly. Like when a lady describes herself as a "nymph", meaning fictional water fairy, when she probably meant nympho...

It does.

MMF - male, male, female; threesome where the men play with each other as well as the female.

MFM - male, female, male; threesome where the men will only play with the female and not each other.

I think the correct terminology is really helpful to determine whether a single or couple are open to bi play or not. A lot of guys on here state “straight” as their sexuality so they don’t discourage straight only situations, but they are open to bi-play.

I did some research in my book club and I’m informed it’s all about the first letters;

MMMF - 3 bi men, 1 female

MMMFM - 3 bi men, 1 female, 1 straight man

MMFMF - 2 bi men, 1 bi female, 1 straight man, 1 straight female.

"I'm going to Asdas" "

Actually, it tends to be "I'm going Asdas" now. The "to" seems to be getting dropped.

"

I’m sure a lot of men who write “MMF” on here actually mean “MFM”

As they both mean the same it really doesn't matter.

I always understood that MMF implied that the men were bi and MFM that they were straight ok so use the convention to describe 3 straight men and 1 woman.

You can't. If the men are bi it's a bi-mmf

I'm not saying you're wrong, just what my understanding of the acronym is. I don't know what the convention is to describe three straight men and one woman. So you're right I can't do it.

The convention of using initial letters and you're right, it can't be done which is why the whole 'mmf is bi' thing is a joke.

I think the correct terminology is really helpful to determine whether a single or couple are open to bi play or not. A lot of guys on here state “straight” as their sexuality so they don’t discourage straight only situations, but they are open to bi-play.

I did some research in my book club and I’m informed it’s all about the first letters;

MMMF - 3 bi men, 1 female

MMMFM - 3 bi men, 1 female, 1 straight man

MMFMF - 2 bi men, 1 bi female, 1 straight man, 1 straight female."

Why do we have to try and communicate in as few letters and as little effort as possible though? Why not just use words to describe unambiguously what we wish for?

The spelling and grammar can be a bit dicey - and that's usually (but by no means always) a good indicator of whether there will be a click. What really annoys me is that UTTERLY daft "publicly traded entity" bollox.....

I had to Google this. Apparently it's called talking or communicating. Proper way out kinky.

If it's northern, you can here where the "t" would be.

I'm going t'asda. The "t" might not be heard as you expect, but there will be a slight pause in "going" and "asda".
