My PA once found me asleep in the toilets at Dishoom in Kings Cross.

Got a few in a kitchen on the worktop morning after a party,on the toilet, standing up while at work leaning over a running engine,on a train at Heathrow airport! ,Behind the wheel of my van I woke when I hit the car Infront!

John Smith’s, if I recall correctly…..

To be fair, what I remember of the high street was actually quite pleasant.

The Chinese restaurant was like stepping into a time warp however, and the ‘apartment’ I stayed in at The Calcaria would have made Guantanamo look like The Ritz.

The bus station also looked like a great place to get stabbed.

Was going to say that it sounded just like Grimsby but then you mentioned that the high street was quite pleasant.

Tho the Spoons near the station does serve 1.99 pints (correct as of mid Oct!) so at least you can hammered on the cheap as soon as you step foot in town to get you through the day

In bin shed, cuddling my pet traffic cone. I was a student, it was Freshers and I'd moved house a few days earlier. D*unken radar took me to old house. Key didn't work, so evicted bin and slept in shed.
