Black ring as sign of a swinger?!

I like to think of myself as a man of the world - not to mention a seasoned perv! So I was a bit surprised to learn for the first time this week that wearing a black ring on the right hand, either on the index or ring finger, is supposed to be a sign that you are a swinger!

Not on the middle finger of the right hand, mind you - that apparently signifies that you are asexual. So plenty of room for mixed signals there!

Has anyone else come across “The Sign of the Black Ring”? (Sounds like a Sherlock Holmes story!). Do you wear a black ring? Have I been living in ignorance all these years? Do I need to get myself a black ring immediately, if not sooner?!

There are lots of myths surrounding signs of a person being a swinger. I suspect this is another.

Although initially I thought you were referring to a different type of black ring ..

Subtlety is overrated

Our house had a pampas grass in the front garden when we moved in, we dug it out long before we started swinging and found out it was a "thing" though.

We do know quite a few swingers who wear black rings OP, don't think I'd go for that though as I'd rather avoid catching the eye of the local fabbers while I'm on the school run
