Yes, I watched it, the best acting I’ve seen in a while. You have to think this is 1 guy out of billions, chances of it happening to you are so remote, way more chance of winning the lottery

It's actually a huge fear of mine. And a big reason I've never been able to have a one night stand with a stranger.

Anyone could be anyone your nextdoor neighbour/ work colleague/ the guy you sit next to on the bus could be a serial killer. You still say good morning and sit next to them without question. You can’t go through life being scared of what people may or may not do. You’d never go out.

I’m surprised that any woman would meet someone without having a social in a public place first. While it doesn’t guarantee that he isn’t a wrong ‘un at least you have the chance to end it there if it doesn’t feel right.

I haven't watched it, but I was familiar with Dahmer long before there was a show about him, truly the stuff of nightmares.

And yes, it's stories like his that means I will never feel safe meeting someone from the internet. I still do though because it's important to remember that most people aren't psychotic killers, and most are just wanting to have a nice time. Life is full of risks that we take.

I'm amazed how many people who have litterly nothing on their profile, including no photos thinks women will just meet them. One guy used fake photos because he was married and still thought he had a chance to meet women

I’m a true crime buff so I knew about Dahmer long before the show, we’re still working through it as N isn’t familiar with any of it. I find serial killers really fascinating and usually listen to podcasts or watch documentaries when I’m working alone late at night lol.
