If she comments or makes it obvious that she is embarrased simply tell her not to worry and that your professional relationship will stay exactly that, although if she enjoyed herself, then fuck her again!

It could be worse at my last chrustmaz party I told my boss that he was a complete wanker and treat his staff like fuckwits and he would be respected far more if he gave the respect first!!!!

just picked up on this one ....

its one of the hazards of office parties I guess; fuelled by drink these things happen -- but as other have said; you are both in same boat and im guessing married to.....try to defuse situation some how by asking her outright is she fine with it etc

She could be considered as abusing her authority and being un-professional. Then for you she might start bullying you with it somehow and making your life hell.

There is also stuff to gain too. Perhaps you can work more closely together and she can give you discrete favours ?!?

But generally I think it will be more difficult in the longer term to be objective in your professional relationship.

Perhaps if you want to take it on further then it might be better for one of you to transfer to another department?

Been there done that.. (mrs) although i was the boss.. but couldn't resist him.. wow

. but the monday after was awkward.. well to start with.. But got over that.. we now been together nearly 20 years got married in 98 and best thing i ever did.. although our employer found out pretty quick and moved another member of staff into our workshop at the time pretty sure they thought we'd be at it all day long... lol oh he was married (seperated) and i was engaged albeit to a pillock.. And his wife was a rep that came to our company regularly and i knew...whoops

oh the tangled webs we weave !! But all worth it in the end ...
