I live on an island. I'll happily drive myself to a meet but I'm not getting on a boat or plane. That's travel lol.

Maybe that's island mentality. My perspective translated to the mainland would be not travelling out of the area/county perhaps. Maybe over a certain distance.

They probably do both but put that on their profile as when you say you accom people assume that they can invite themselves over willy nilly and when you say you travel people will expect you to drive 2+ hours to meet them

At least that way they don't have to deal with anyone's nonsense assumptions

When I put this it means

I don't host and am looking in my home town for meets

Travel suggests going further afield.

We can't accommodate to haveing teenage kids at home we can travel but as iam in a wheelchair most homes can't accommodate me so we use hotels
