As you can't search for body type on here then it's not a primary search term. I tend to look at the pics, read the profile and if the combination of the 2 apppeal to me we move on from there

For us it's about how a person carries their personality. Size and shape goes out the window once the desire to jump someone's bones has kicked in.

Funny sometimes ..an athletic bear 5'8 tall and the worlds strongest man contender

If pinned down I would have to say I tend to prefer slimmer or somewhat curvy ladies but I have to say personality carries it for me overall, so I guess I don't have a strong 'type'

I do look at size...not the first thing, if the message is good and they seem to have intelligence and a sense of humour, that is sexier to me....a lovely smile goes a long way.... I actually prefer a meatier man....cant do with feeling bones on a skinny man or woman.....

Just my preference...as some have put...each to their own..xxx

Not particularly common I'd say, rather than a shortage - I see guys who are athletic looking and those who are clearly steroid users popping up in the gallery quite frequently.

I look at the body types when searching, but they are not always accurate, so hopefully, there is a picture too to give me an extra clue.

If the profile has no pictures, then if the body type states something that I am not looking for, then I will pass it by.

I know what turns me on and what I like, so I go looking for that.

This can be seen many times in everyday life as well.

M is overweight and im just fat lol. But we have a warning so to speak on our profile stating this.

I was asked once why we have that on our profile as at the end of the day people will meet of they want to and looks/size shouldn't be an issue. My point was people will always look skin deep, they don't like what they see they aren't gonna bother giving the personality of the person a try. We are quite a friendly couple and get on with everyone. But if everyone did the same then it would be a boring place.

Personally i like my men (and women) to be curvy. As I am scared I'm going to hurt someone skinny. But the majority of meets have always been thinner men and curvy ladies and I message people to see if I could get on with them then I look at pics to see how they look. But that doesn't stop me meeting them if I like the sound of their conversation

think wot generally transpires on these type of threads is that peoples interpretation of a description ie 'curvy' seems to vary quite drastically and for that reason i tend not to take too much notice of how a person describes themselves but look at the pics

Me too, if I don't find face attractive I'll not be interested and I expect same back, if they don't fancy me, what's the point? Chemistry only happens when there's an attraction on both sides imo

Body type is not the first thing I look at, I like a handsome face and an intelligent mind.

I like my partners build, soft tummied with strong arms and muscular thighs. I'm not usually attracted to very slim men, but I've met a guy who was recently and he was very lov ely, so its not something that's set in stone for me. I would say ideally a man with a bit of meat on him, strong hands, arms and thighs, one that looks as if he could manhandle you and not break in half

I like tall and muscular and say so in the first line of my profile.

But I am frequently amazed at guys who think they fit the bill! Or who say that I don't really mean it, do I!

The instances when I have changed my preferences are generally when I have met someone in a club and been enticed by their personality. But when meeting through a website looks will always win out for me.

Personality is the main thing I go for, as a connection there is the sexiest thing, but if pushed on it I would have to say my favourite is for a curvy, cuddly lady. Mind you I am a bit cuddly myself!! So I think there is a lot of like going for like.

I don't like really muscly guys, just doesn't do anything for me. To look at I love slender, tall guys but if I'm going to have sex with someone, personality wins out and I'm past caring about body type

As I'm curvy, yes yes all subjective I know - a politer way of saying fat perhaps? Well anyway, as a size 18, I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea but it hasn't done me any harm really

Well both individuals need to be attracted to each other in some sense. So, body shape may not necessarily be the first thing you think about but it is definately ticking away in the back of your head i think..subconsciously.

Nice face for me first of all, then personality/sense of humour/intelligence. All of these come before body shape when I decide whether to meet someone, but yes it is still a factor. xx

I'm under no illusions about my body...how I see it is different to how others _iew it...I asked some of my previous playmates how they describe me knowing they would be brutally honest and curvy came out of all their mouths....my personality gets me laid more than my looks....I'm ok with that cos I know they really enjoying my company and not just the fuck...

We struggled with this because I know athletic typically means slim and toned for men... Well hubby is muscle bound but as a strong man is very big and broad but putting large to us indicated fat lol. I also started out as ample but now changed to curvy as I've lost weight and it seems curvy is quite commonly used! So where I thought of myself as ample before, I needn't have.

That is so right when meeting in person ,however on a website we all have to use subjective "cut off" points whether that's body shape or more importantly no one has yet mentioned AGE!
