How do you spot the fakes ???

We have been chatting to couples on here for abit and while most are genuine there a few that only the males chat and the chat is always one sided to the wife n never they wife chatting to me if you know what I mean. We as a couple want to do this as a couple expect the same bk I understand that there wife might not like me n just goin along with it.. but how can you tell and is this a sign of a fake ?

We’ve had this quite a few times. We won’t chat without a photo verification. It’s not 100% fool proof but a start.

It’s just a case of keeping quite cool until your hackles (or in our case husbands) are up then we just call it a day. Just have to kind of accept it and move on.

It is irritating though.

We always read the veris and check whose verified them, always sceptical of any messages with no veris or pics so unlikely to engage and won't share pics. Personally we always reply together, no secrets here. Only time one will reply is if it's an obvious thanks but no thanks.

Make sure they are photo and meet verified, check the verification, ask for a phone call - when you been chatting for a while ( it shouldn't be an issue if all is genuine) if they decline because she js not there , ask for a proof pic (doesn't have to show face - like a pic of the both holding a 5 pound note or something similar

If they decline all then it js a male having a wank lol x

Do the cutlery test to anyone you suspect might be fake. Ask them to send a pic holding a random piece of cutlery and that’ll prove they’re both real.

On my joint profile it’s always a red flag if it’s only the male messaging and he’s ignoring my partner. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re fake, they’re just rude.

We always sign off our messages so the other person knows who they’re talking to at that particular time.

It’s easy to tell when it’s a solo male and not a couple. They trip themselves up and usually the talk is based completely around sex.

The thing is I get the photo verification and they got couple pics on there profile and seem proper but you know when you just get a feeling that something is off..might have to try the cutlery trick and go on a blocking spree..

It’s sad really and spoils it for genuine couples that want to get into this seen like our selfs.

It’s not gunna throw us off as we got libs booked in October so excited

I used to catch a fair few out using reverse image search if the pics looked too good to be true and/or I just had suspicions anyway.

When I’m on the couples account, normally it’s when you ask to speak to the female half and they either come up with excuses or block.

Again, usually easy to tell as most genuine women never launch into pornographic chat from the first message.

Don’t get downhearted OP, plenty of real people on here and glad to hear you’re going to a club, it’s a great way to meet couples

I use a term a friend of mine told me years ago. SHIT TEST THEM.

Give them a little bit of shit to see how they hold up. If they can’t handle it or back up what they say. Then move on. Not worth your time and energy.

Photo verification and meet verification can be faked

Only way to know is ask for a custom picture like holding up a kettle or 3 fingers or something other wise there is no way to tell

....one guy with a single male profile and claiming to have a girlfriend he wanted me to fuck sent half-a-dozen photos of 'her' - except 'she' was at least three different women from a Polish site...

You talk to them online, you try and suss them out, do they feel right or is something off.

For me if they don’t feel right I won’t arrange to meet them.

If they do feel right and won’t exchange phone numbers, I won’t arrange to meet them.

But ultimately until you actually meet the person or people involved you won’t know.

One issue is of course where the female has lost interest or even left but the male keeps the profile.

We don't meet couples so our main issue is time wasters since no one in their right mind would pretend to be a bloke on here!

The Mrs rarely logs into our couple profile but we're happy to send anyone curious to her single profile which is well verified. We also are happy to video call anyone who we want to meet on WhatsApp. Interestingly the suggestion of WhatsApp usually gets rid of time wasters.

We also have found that seems to stop people corresponding with us.

Often asked about Kik etc which we don't have or want.

The occasions where we have exchanged numbers and then had voice calls on speaker so everyone can hear eachother or WhatsApp video call, have always resulted in actual meets and sex dates.

Getting more difficult on here now. Most are here for chat and pic swapping, they stand out when you find they keep requesting more pics or you find yourself repeatedly trying to arrange even a social only meet. They give every excuse under the sun or long periods of ignorance while clearly still logging in frequently. Ome log off immediately after you pop the question !. Others don't like our slow approach over several weeks, s out some fakes... Chat, friends, face pic swap, arrange social. Also beware those requesting friends when they have few if any friends pics (usually pic collectors). Check for a full profile with plenty to say, lots of pics, photo verification flag, meeting verification green circle, veri count displayed, recent veris (though it's been difficult meeting anyone during and even post covid !)

I only ask as "someone" keeps appearing on my local feed, same pics, different profile/bio and the pics are all easily reverse image searchable.

I always report profile and pics but all that seems to happen is after a few days the pic vanishes but the profile remains and more of the same pics are uploaded later. Maybe 5-6 times this year

No action seems to be taken on culling the profile. Last time it appeared removed but a friends account could still see it.

Maybe because its paid...

I fear anyone arranging a date with them.

Your answer if they are a site supporter but not a genuine account yes they are still removed, trying to bypass by purchasing doesn't help the user staff take appropriate action which they seem fit if violating the site rules are options to contact the owner if you believe you need to

We generally assume everyone is fake to begin with. Especially newer profiles. As we're not looking to meet at the moment, we tend to just engage with the profile as it's presented and don't dig too deep.

The main red flags for us are new profiles with lots of explicit photos. Or with meet veris within a day or two of joining the site. Also if the new profile pops up at the same time as a host of other new profiles in our local area. Profiles who go straight to dirty talk can also be a red flag. Also those who are constantly posting statuses about wanting to meet or wanting someone to meet the male half alone.

Reverse image tests like tineye are a great resource.

You'd think, but despite being reported within 2hrs of them joining, they are still there as are the pics. Plus another one appeared.

Same collection used on each profile created and stand out like a sore thumb (well, not sore thumb, more a porn cock). Can guess what the next few will be.

I've reported and blocked, but really does seem being gold from the outset gives much more life on the profile - I'd virtually guarentee the punishment will be pic removal and then they will be readded a few days later. Always happens.

Who knows - maybe he is the porn picture star depicted who travelled the world a decade ago but can't afford a new camera now (or maybe its fallen off through overuse)

I really do fear such liars having dates and not being who they say - other threads here fallen foul an had to call police when the person wasn't who they said.

If anything happens to anyone, not sure fab can claim they've done all they can as rapidly as they can!

Surely multiple reports on new profile/pics should auto hide/suspend profile? Auto reverse image search on any reported pic? Auto blacklist of anyone uploading previously blocked photos?

Only highlighing above to remind people to trust no one....

Check verifications are they recent ,do they mention both people?sometimes couples split and the male will keep using the account.

One of the first things a couple told me when I first joined the lifestyle, was "you just know" and I remember thinking "How" but the more people you talk to, the more people you meet, you just do. I like to think of it more like, you get a feel for when someone is genuine, more so than if there fake.

Verification trail is good - see who verified them. If a couple is only verified by one or two then make sure it’s not the single profiles of the couple or just a couple of fake/hidden profiles.

Trust your instinct - if something smells off just trust your gut and end the chat. Or if it’s a bit too good to be true same goes.

We also have a social first every time, unless meeting in a club, and that often puts off the fakes. If they know there’s no chance of fun then they stop bothering, especially as we have no smut chat until after that.

Contrary to some we won’t use WhatsApp until we’ve met people. It’s often said on here “oh you can just block if they’re dodgy/fake” but that’s only blocks the number you have for them. Doesn’t block any others and doesn’t stop them having your number. A friend of mine had her number posted on a status on here by someone she knocked back - she got bombarded! Skype or Telegram at least can give video calling with no number (kik doesn’t anymore).

How someone messages is a big giveaway

Do they have verifications - if so do veri a trail. Check those who verified them, see if they are “real”

I need people to be photo verified with at least 1 "meet" verification from a clearly genuine profile at minimum. I know this isn't fool proof as we all know some guys make fake profiles and verify themselves BUT those with multiple verifications don't really need to. I also take in to account if they're a site supporter too as for me that shows they're a keen user of fab.

If they're weird about sending face pics I see that as a red flag also. I tend to just count the flags.

It's hard though, there's no definites on here. Go with your gut ultimately.

We always find when we ask them to verify via kik or telegram by sending a voice note that’s when the excuses start such as I’m working away for the week or she is sleeping or working and when we ask them to contact us when together then you never hear from them again. Well I agree with them on that one. You can report. But “fake” isn’t illegal, only mildly irritating and one persons fake isn’t always right. I’ve been accused of being fake when I changed my mind about meeting up. So I think when you “meet” the “fakes”, trust your instinct, lose no sleep and simply move on. What they get from it is their business but it must be something.

Exactly the same here. Char has her own solo account and that's more than enough Fabbing for her.

Hopefully our verifications and pics show we're real, and we've not yet been asked to do video calls or verification pics. Think we'd enjoy getting creative if someone asked us for a specific pics

For example, claims to have a degree or works in a profession that requires a certain level of education and training, but the text is full of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Yes, everyone does the odd typo and some people have, e.g. dyslexia, but having dyslexia myself, it can be obvious to me whether their error are related to it or not.

"Verification trail is good - see who verified them. If a couple is only verified by one or two then make sure it’s not the single profiles of the couple or just a couple of fake/hidden profiles.

Trust your instinct - if something smells off just trust your gut and end the chat. Or if it’s a bit too good to be true same goes.

We also have a social first every time, unless meeting in a club, and that often puts off the fakes. If they know there’s no chance of fun then they stop bothering, especially as we have no smut chat until after that.

Contrary to some we won’t use WhatsApp until we’ve met people. It’s often said on here “oh you can just block if they’re dodgy/fake” but that’s only blocks the number you have for them. Doesn’t block any others and doesn’t stop them having your number. A friend of mine had her number posted on a status on here by someone she knocked back - she got bombarded! Skype or Telegram at least can give video calling with no number (kik doesn’t anymore). "

If they have your phone number they can also find you on other social media such as Facebook or Instagram etc.

To be fair, I’ve met a lot of couples where it’s just been the male half typing and organising the meet.

I do all the fab in as the male half for a number of reasons

1, I'm infinitely more patient than K lol,

2, My bullshit detector is finely tuned,

3, To protect and shield K from the worst of the sick and abusive messages we sometimes receive.

4, If a single guy can't show me respect and form some sort of friendship m rapport then there's no way he's going to be invited into our marital bed.

I also sign off as Mr in messages and K is happy to confirm on the phone or send pictures together like the cutlery test. She just has no interest until the actual meet, social, club visit etc.
