forums are like clubs

So as a reguklar club goer one of my pet hates is the pied piper of hamelin effect women have over men at clubs.. you see them following women around like rats.. or worse stil constantly doing a 'circuit' of a club as they hunt.. reading forum posts by women it seems the same thing happens just verbally.. the same guys say the same lines and follow the poster. Yes im going to get grief for this but its true!!!

I suppose it's the nature of the beast. In vanilla life when I was younger and out and about in clubs and bars these type of predatory guys were easy to spot and steer clear of....if you wanted to. On here I don't tend to bother about it too much

This has never happened to me. I don't know if its because I am ugly, scary, or just not the type they want, but in the 6 or 7 clubs I have visited I have never had a 'line of guys' after me.

I've only seem this once in a club when a pretty 22 year old lady turned up on her own. She had never swung before or been to a club ... she certainly had balls (metaphorically I'm glad to say).

A few guys hung around her all night vying for attention, I said hello, chatted for a moment, complimented her and left her to it, saying to look me up if she needed any help.

Later in the evening she found her way to me and we ended up playing. When I asked her later why she had picked me she said it was because I was confident but not pushy and she felt safe with me.

I've found this approach works well for me in a club and if you become a regular you get known for your none pushy approach and get more invitations to play.

Following ladies around doesn't work in clubs. It's like Fab, you have to stand out from the crowd and be genuine and approachable.

As to the forums, yes I do indulge in a bit of light hearted stalking I must admit Nothing creepy or sustained, but enough to show an interest in certain members now and again

as a girl, i'd say i'm on the forum genuinely to ask the things i want to ask or comment on things i want to comment.. i've not met anyone from the forums community yet.. i have met one guy from the chatroom that turned out to be the best i've had so far..

i find some people tend to stick to either the chats or the forums or the meets/events or fabbing pics..

I haven't personally noticed any 'forum stalking' or following going on!

There's the usual banter and flanter between 'virtual friends' and the occasional random 'fawning' over a woman's post - but apart from the jokey stuff I must be missing something!

Sure there'll be many a guy throwing compliments and flattery at a 'look at me' or 'would you' style thread - but I'd guess there's a lot more stalking going on in chat!

Have seen the stalking / following going on in clubs but can't say I have really noticed it regularly on the forums.

Lots of banter, some outright flirting and the occasional bit of fawning, yes!

I wouldn't say they follow them round on here but there is a lot of fawning and buttering up by a few of the guys. You have to remember a lot struggle to get an interaction going no here so sucking up or following round or what ever you wish to call it is often the only option.

I wouldnt say it was 'stalking' in clubs or on here.

If there are men behind me, that then follow me, I just turn round and say 'go have fun boys, I dont need a shadow' I'm not aggressive with it however I am firm.

I dont let them get close enough to be touching me without invition.

Body language works well, in letting someone know youre open to a chat.

On here I think its more, people click to the type of sense of humour you have, so will post.

But as its a forum thing, I guess if everyone stayed quiet then well we'd all give up and go away.

Yep 100% glad i'm not the only one to notice ..

Like little lap dogs say what they think the girls want to hear...So long as there are desperate blokes around women will call the shots like they do.

if there's one thing I've noticed when at clubs is that the polite non pushy guy gets nowhere, and ends up having a wank at home. Its the cheeky ones who go hunting who are the more successful. One of the biggest swinging myths is "polite, non pushy guy required". The reason a lot of guys behave like that is it gets them a reasonable level of success. They wouldn't do it if it didn't work and the guys who follow couples about are usually up for an open room gang bang, so if its going to happen, best get there early.

Anyway, what's wrong with going "hunting", my wife goes "hunting".
