Do you think this is unreasonable?

When I am travelling around the country I stay at expensive hotels and AirBNBs.

Is it unreasonable to ask any visitor for a donation to help pay for the accom?

It may seem to some, a form of escorting, but it is not as the contribution wouldn't be anywhere near the cost of an escort for an hour.

It's not clear, are you travelling for your own benefit or theirs.

If you're travelling to specifically meet a person then yes.

If you're just travelling and hoping to meet people then no.

So your travelling maybe for work or just for a holiday. And you want someone to chip In because you invite them back to your room?

I would be surprised if someone asked me for money. A Good gig though if people cough up

If you’ve travelled some distance to meet someone especially then 50/50 on the room would seem reasonable but they’d surely have some say in the cost / extravagance of said room?

If you just fancy a trip to Scotland and you fuck someone whilst you’re there good luck on getting them to cough for your trip.

If you are travelling to meet them then it’s ok to ask beforehand, if you are travelling anyway and would be staying in a hotel then no.

I think it's unreasonable if you were going to be there anyway

Somewhere in Co. Down

I think if you are staying somewhere just for a meet then yes both should pay towards the cost.

But if you are travelling for work or pleasure and have just decided to meet someone because you are there anyhow then no I think it's wrong to expect someone else to help cover the cost if you are going to be there anyhow.

If whoever you’re meeting is ok with contributing then seems ok. Ultimately they have the choice I guess.
