Would you meet a pushy person?

I only ask because we've just had to block a proper pest, who had 14 glowing verifications!

I understand people don't always meet through fab directly, but it does make me wonder how he got anywhere near the women in his pics with this behaviour

Nope. If they’re pushy by text. How insufferable are they going to be in person?

Plus, they’re probably the type to not respect any boundaries and just their for their own fun.

"Nope. If they’re pushy by text. How insufferable are they going to be in person?

This is exactly how we feel! People can be very flippant on here, "oh we're all here for sex and lots of it, don't be such a prude" that sort of attitude but I don't think it's a stretch to want your play mates to have some respect?

We are only after one buddy for longterm fun. We enjoyed our last buddy for 10+ years.

We expect effort, we think that we are worth effort, but if someone becomes pushy, then they are history.

It sets off alarm bells - if they're that pushy in messages, what are they like in real life? There's plenty of polite gentlemen on fab to choose from.

"totally this !!

Coming at this from a purely male perspective on this site - I often find that most couples/women aren’t used to being told ‘sorry, you’re not for me’

I understand why because they have the pick of whoever they want in reality on here but I always insist on meeting for a drink first before anything. I have to have some physical attraction to the person to go with finding them fun and interesting.

I recently met with a couple who after a coffee invited me back to theirs. I said I was flattered but they weren’t for me and politely declined. When I next checked the site I had a barrage of messages saying how I’ve wasted their time, how I’m missing out and how they didn’t want me to come anyway but felt they had to invite me because I’d turned up. Totally contradicting themselves but, ah well!

Some people don't realise that there's a life outside of Fab and swinging. They don't understand that meetings can sometimes take a while to set up for all manner of reasons. I've had to block a recent contact for that reason just an hour ago. Just got fed up with continually being asked "so when can we meet"!!

OMG that is shocking behaviour

Can absolutely attest to some couples and women being brats - when I first came on here and then when we moved to our first couple's profile, we saw MANY rattles thrown out of the pram

Of course it's disappointing when things don't take off with someone you fancy, but come on!!

In this case it was messaging us to say he was looking for couples (cool, didn't ask!), we stated he clearly hadn't read our profile on multiple counts but that didn't stop him messaging several more times - each time he acted as though he simply couldn't help himself which was quite amusing

I usually ignore/block if pushy.

I met one chap who seemed pushy by text, perhaps due to the sheer volume of texts, but in person, (after several months cooloff period) the most respectful non pushy person I've ever met.

BUT it can easily be the other way...

So disturbing that so many men take "no" as a challenge.
