When your sending new people a message , what's your opening message?

Titz Towers, North Notts

Something that subtly shows I've read their profile.

Something witty.

Eye of newt.

A face pic

And no imperial complications

I wouldn’t take advice from me given my success rate. However, if you think there’s a single applicable text for all scenarios, then you’ve already lost the game.

It would be about why I'm writing. I want to show that I've considered whether they might actually like to hear from us or not.

Don't wanna listen to drivel!

Want to actually have something to go by that will tell me who you are

A spark - just a tiny one - something that will ignite our interest.. It's not a lot to ask.. we've put ourselves out there, we've gotten naked and taken photos, wrestled with the sodding technology (we are of a certain age FFS this shit is not as easy as it looks) and we've procrastinated for days over what to say about ourselves.. second guesses it, changed it 100 times and then just launched it as is in despair.

We deserve more than just a one liner or inane drivel surely?

I tailor it to the individual and what's on their profile. I never send just one line of conversation and never use text speak.

"When your sending new people a message , what's your opening message?"

Definitely not worth tailoring messages, they just get deleted anyway. Best idea is to use something catchy and clever, like "my balls, your chin, meet tonight?" Be sure to add close up dick pics so they have something to fap to while they wait for you to arrive. I'd say thank me later, but you'll be too busy slaying vag

It's best not to have a standard one, they are generally obvious and an automatic delete for most people

If I'm sending a message it's because something in their profile has grabbed my eye, be it the bio text or a picture, so I'll generally start with that

"Compliment the profile.. offer a polite chat.. ensure potential meet that I’m polite respectful and not pushy"

I don't mean to sound rude but that's pretty much every generic message or profile

'I liked your profile

Would you like to chat

I promise if we get the chance to meet I won't mess you about, I'm reliable, clean, smell nice'

They should all be a given, if it has to be highlighted it sounds like you don't have much about you, & as harsh as it sounds it no better message than the one liners

'Hi'

'How are you?'

'What you up to?'

Or a Friday/Monday favourite

'Weekend plans?' 'Good Weekend'

It has to be different for everyone so I picked fantasia-pair as they looked like someone we would get on with..

Read the bio and pick out something you have in common, However, when the bio says

"30 year old male/female/couple looking to meet men"

there's not loads to go on. Haha

A dick pic.

Your hot.

I'm wanking over your pics.

That's the three I've had in the last five minutes, don't go with any of them.

Try and compliment them or comment on something in their profile to engage in chat.

Doesn't really matter what you write. It's a bit of a lottery ok here. Something a bit different from the norm that will make you stand out, but there is no guarantee of getting a reply.

It entirely depends on the type of person and their interests but it's more than just a few words

Your cut and paste type message is your profile. All that is generic about you should be in your write up.

Then send a message that will not give the receiver the heebeejeebies and may entice them to look at your profile.

I generally remark on the thing that drew my attention. This can be a status or a new pic. I use humour as my default setting and keep it short. If they are interested you can expand the next message.

Good luck...it is a lottery out there.

I agree. I've spent five minutes or more thoughtfully trying to write something which will tell them I have actually read their profile and ven when I meet all their criteria including subject title etc, it just gets deleted.

If you approached someone in a bar you wouldn't spew out a load of waffle, it's usually 'hi, can I buy you a drink' so why on here.

If the person finds you attractive, that's all you need.

On here, I think the subject title needs to be catchier than a hi and then it all depends on the photo you enclose.

No guarantees and plenty of luck.

A maximum of 3 words with an exorbitant number of kisses. Eg "How are you? Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

That kind of imaginative missive scores big. HUGE!!
