There was a similar thread last week...it worked out..75% single men..22%single women and 36% couples..

Not on here, but I did do some research many years ago (basically me and nine mates all signed up and kept details of how well we did, sad but true) for dating web sites and came up with the following statistics:

On average for single men looking for a partner:

1 in 10 messages sent would result in a response.

Of the responses, 1 in 10 would result in an exchange of messages.

Of the exchanging messages, 1 in 10 would result in an actual date.

Of the dates 1 in 10 would result in a relationship.

So the odds of finding someone on a dating site were 1:10,000

Just out of curiosity, I once counted the number of females, couples and males who joined here in a span of about two hours. If I recall correctly, it was something like:

Females: 8

Couples: 18

Males: 34

If those scores are fairly average across the site, then thats slightly more than 2 couples for every female, and two males for every couple.

Don't forget cheaters, that will definitely screw up the figures as beginning to think there are very few real single males

I had a quick search in the ls postcodes... I know rock and roll, i ve a cup of coffee waiting as well..

Single ladies..(18 - 65) . 30 thats profiles that have accessed the site upto 7hrs ago....

Coples (m/f) ... (18 - 65) ..35 again within 7 hrs ,

Single guys. ... 300 plus. 7 hours from last accessing the site.. i cant see more than 10 pages

So approximately 10:1.. not very scientific but my coffees going cold.
