We've been part of the scene for a couple of months now. We've had a few successful meets and are loving all that comes with them.

We've had two cancellations and someone just not turn up. This despite all the guys showing a lot of interest.

I'm thinking that these are married guys or do they just bottle it at the last minute.

Do other people get lots of timewasters and late cancellations?

I had one yesterday. Chatting for a good few days. Very keen. Seemed genuine. Was supposed to meet at 1 for a walk. I messaged at 1 saying I was here. He deleted the message. I just met another friend and I didn't go out my way to meet him but he didn't know that. I've not given it any thought and it very rarely happens but it must be annoying if it happens to someone repeatedly

Every now and again you’ll get it wrong, but in time you’ll just be able to tell who is going to no show.

Happened twice with couples. The first time, we had arranged a meet for the next evening after seeing each other on cam. Got a message early the next morning with them cancelling, saying they were both p*ssed the night before and were suffering hangovers!

The second time, I had arranged a meeting with a couple for nearly two weeks. They cancelled by phone AN HOUR before the meet.

Well, it happens to men too.

I've had two recently.

One was a woman with, possibly, a genuine emergency, we will find out on the 16th as we've rearranged.

The other was a couple who messaged on the morning of the meet, after I'd booked and paid for the hotel and couldn't cancel, to say that they'd decided "I wasn't for them".

The latter was an instant unfriend, block, delete.

The former, I'm working on the basis of the saying quoted to James Bond by Auric Goldfinger when he says:

"Mr Bond, they have a saying in Chicago: 'Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action'."

In this case there won't be a third time. Unfriend! Block! Delete! Next!

To put it another way "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me"

Meaning after being tricked once, one should learn from one's mistakes and avoid being tricked in the same way again.

Easier said than done.

We’ve had a few ( singletons) who have bailed but more couples acting as chancers . So what we do now is to borrow a husband with permission to play alone or meet other couples in a club environment. I’m afraid time wasters etc goes with territory

It's alright for you singletons and couples who live together. I do the admin for our little group and because some work shifts, some work weekends, some are contractors etc. it takes a lot of effort to arrange to meet, especially if we are hosting. Too much effort to give people second chances!

I don’t meet guys on my own, preferring to go to clubs and spas although I used to arrange meets with my partner but we’ve now taken the same approach on our couples profile.

People can be very flaky and it takes time and effort to arrange things. There’s always the chance you end up in an awkward situation where you don’t want to play, or they don’t either.

I’m sure sometimes it is for genuine reasons but we are both very busy so don’t get the opportunity that often so we like to make the most of that time by going to the beach or a club. We share when and where we are going and we are fortunate that we are rarely short of playmates

I don't meet straight away. I'll chat to someone for a few weeks or even months and get to know them because if we aren't on the same wavelength to start with there's no point in meeting.

I've no interest in meeting just for the sake of it but it has never failed once so I won't be changing my approach. That doesn't suit everyone but it's fine for me.

The more often you prefer to meet and the shorter the time between first chatting and meeting the greater chance there is of a no show.

Life is complex for all of us! We decided long ago that we would happily meet arrange to meet people at Clubs and if they didn’t show or we didn’t show then other options were available. Once we have met it is then much easier to arrange subsequent Hotel meets. We understand not everyone can get to Clubs, but it works everytime for us

People cancel all the time for various reasons, some genuine some

hmm probably BS haha.

I've had a lady cancel saying "sorry going home couldn't find parking down your street"

could have called & would shown her where to park.

Had couples cancel & see new veri from someone else on their profile next day

haha.

I've learnt now to have a plan B in place

, be sceptical, in other words '80% prepare for cancellation, 20% chance they show up'

Half of the single guys we arrange meets with either don't show up and we never hear from again, or make an excuse when we message the day/morning before and ask if they're still coming.

We don't do pic swaps or sex messaging and we avoid anyone without meet verifications, but it still happens. We think lots just like the chase and being wanted, others can't get away from wives and more than a few just bottle it - threesomes can be daunting.

I think a lot of it is also to do with home working.

A lot of guys are trying to have the sneaky fun they used to have, but so many of their partners are now hybrid working they end up caught out with her working from home.

People are much less reliable since lockdown we’ve found.

Benefit of the doubt and re-arranged for this evening (my birthday fun) and he's apparently now stuck in Newcastle....even though his Fab shows he's 7-10 miles away from us in Peterborough!

People’s concept of time can be very loose on here. They just seem to think you’ll sit and wait. On my single profile I had a guy have a pop at me because I stood him up. He was two hours late and was genuinely pissed off I hadn’t waited!

I’m organising a bukkake on Thursday at 12 noon. I’ve had four people tell me they’re free at 2pm. And one who is helpfully free on Friday evening…

I met a ‘ wonderful ‘ couple for cuck Hotwife fun.

After weeks of chatting as she was nervous, she changed her mind & they both came around to mine.

She enjoys dressing up, which she did after she relaxed & when both started to enjoy each other’s company, whilst hubby watched & wanked .

We had a hotel in York last year and arranged for two guys at 22:30. At 23:00, we messaged both. One had family suddenly turn up, the other was "still out with the lads, just booking a taxi now". At 1am he messaged to say he was free to pop round!

Happens. The reason is because there are plenty of guys who live in fantasy land. Either they think they can live the lifestyle, but actually they have their wife's or girlfriends whom they can't work around or they are outright catfish, who call quits as soon as things get real.
