Just in a hotel now. How do people get past reception for meets. Got my mind thinking. I had to check in etc. how do people do it

Just say others are joining me.

Get people to call me when outside and going to meet them.

Only hotel met for years and never had an issue with all the usual hotels xx

Meet in the bar. One of you goes up to the room alone. Other two go together a bit later?

One of our first meets was tricky - the hotel was practically empty and the stairs were next to the reception desk. Plus my other half was VERY loud when she came. So I guess the receptionist probably worked it out!

Never had an issue, even when a partner has stayed the night. Meet in bar, or reception and go to room.

I camo up then burst in, 2 forward rolls, dive over the drinks machine and into the lift... All the time shouting ' nothing to see here!'

Seems to work quite well... Until the police come anyway...

Like other have said just tell them Get to your room so they can just walk past reception with a smile never had a issue.

Easiest is to just walk in with them. Very few hotels care if you have a guest in your room, unless they're staying the night. Even then, it's only really an issue if the room would have cost more with the extra guest.

When you book in at the hotel, you can always tell them that you are hoping to be joined by a lady(or gentleman) friend later if they can make it.

Village Hotels are great for meets as there’s no swipe cards to gain access to the hotel floors (except for the room)

If not I always meet my guests in the carpark walk in with them like friends and lovers do. Kind of exciting dressed slutty in long boots walking in as I don’t worry what anyone thinks as they’ve seen it all before!

Pick hotels that don't require key card for entry to lifts, corridors etc and have a decent sized reception so can just wander in without drawing attention. There are a couple near us that are good swinger hotels (or escort hotels for the same reason! )

We tried for a good few days prior, we were in Manchester that night anyway so made the most out of it enjoying mrs l2 to myself

Was alot on this weekend, parties and clubs being bank holiday, but really surprised you couldn't get anyone to meet.

I think you’re right, individual meets seem a thing of the past. Not arranged one via Fab since 2017 (but that and our subsequent meets were amazing until I moved away). To be fair, I’ve had a regular FwB since 2020 although we’re now 1000s of miles apart, so came back to Fab. No meets though I’ve worked in 3 separate locations and contacted almost everyone that appeals to me in the area. Maybe I’m just older and uglier - or you’re right, no one meets anymore.

Of course people are meeting. Just because nobody is meeting you doesn't mean nobody is meeting. We all know the number are stacked against single men. I reckon a lot more people are meeting privately than going to clubs/parties.

If you don't know them, meet in the bar and check them out.

Otherwise, text them the room number and meet them at the floor entrance (which is usually only accessed by room keys in the kinds of hotels we use).

Always meet in a public area (although to be fair, I had an amazing spontaneous meet many years ago, when she just came straight to my room). Had a disaster like that more recently though (2017) that is a story in itself….

A lot of city centre hotels have bars and security staff, with locked or restricted access, unless a named guest with a key.

Hotel staff here... Not gonna reveal position but...

When booking, check price, if it's for room or per person. Depending on how many people you expecting, safest and best way to do it... Is being honest. Three of you in the room? Book DBL+1 room. Give names, and that's it. Price gonna be probably 30 quid extra. Or if it's not a night meet, book for day use in advance. Nobody is going to check how many is going up to the room.

Now... This is all very hush hush...

Wouldnt let her in because she wasnt staying at the hotel, asked reception but they didn't budge.
