Wondering how people ensure their safety when inviting fab strangers for hook ups. No matter if you’re straight, gay, bi, single, coupled, playing together or flying solo. What steps to do you take when inviting a random into your home for sex?

I'd always have a public social first ,I'd never just invite someone over to me .

Plus I'm half a couple so have the added security that my partner would always know who and where I was meeting .

I don't think of myself as particularly vulnerable but I'd never invite a stranger to my home. Similarly I wouldn't go to a secluded place etc on my own without knowing the person first.

As above, also I have a trusted friend I let know I’m meeting someone new and if she hasn’t heard from me by x time she’d raise an alarm.

And I don’t meet until been chatting a while and got to know as well as possible here/messaging been criticised for that before but works for me

We go by our gut instinct which hasn’t failed us yet. We make sure there are ample verifications to begin with and weigh everything up.

Many of our first meets have taken place within the home whether that has been for sexy fun or a social. There has never been any issues or any problems afterwards such as someone calling again unannounced.
