Friend invitation from hidden profile.

Nafferton, nr Driffield.

So, I receive 'friend invitation' from someone with whom I have had no contact. A bit bit cheeky but not so unusual, presumably wanting access to my full picture folio.

I go to their profile & find that they have hidden it....

What logic applies there?

(Yes, I hope that they read this!)

No idea op & I've had this myself in the past.

I wouldn't accept a random invite (unless to look at their pics and delete again) anyway.

Its like when they've got 1 public pic and no friends pics and they send a friend request

Yep had this many times ... usually fakes looking to view private pics , possibly someone local trying to find out if they recognise you , the profiles tend to disappear after a few days too

Random friend requests are a common thing.

They usually just want to look at your friends only photos.

We just ignore requests from those we don't know and haven't engaged with.
