Stockings need suspenders to stay up. Together they do look the sexiest

HOWEVER

Hold-ups are more practical and easier to wear

(those little clip thro buttons on the suspenders to attach the stocking tops to, are so fiddley)

Hold ups, whilst great in theory, have let me down too often- including at work and walking down the street. So I feel more secure in suspenders and hubby far prefers it, so whilst they are a faff they are the way to go. Black with seams and black patent stilettos to mean business!

Sort of know what you mean, they can look seductive if wearing a skirt or something over the top section.

Waistband - down to bottom of bum cheeks - is the area that in our opinion will always look unattractive.
