Everything we have done in our swinging adventures has been 100% by mutual agreement.

We have discussed our joint and individual boundaries extensively and know where the red lines are.

Agreed re “letting”. It is the connotations in the language. However, once you have agreed boundaries, then anything goes within those parameters. In a way that is granting permission but it is first via a mutual agreement. Language can be tricky!
