When the yellow box lights up.

Single women and couples, you'll probably not fully comprehend, but as a single bloke, when that yellow box lights up on the message section and I get all excited thinking someone has replied to one of my messages. When I realise it's from a single man saying 'I don't suppose you.....' or 'I know you're straight, but.....' or just simply 'fancy a suck?' Oh the instant disappointment. It feels like when your team has that last minute winning goal ruled out for offside lol. Single straight blokes, you know the feeling.

Go to the privacy settings for your account mate, and tick the box allowing single guys to contact you. There’s one for TV’s/CD’s too. No more yellow box for you, but no more disappointments either

I'm not actually moaning, this post was a tongue in cheek observation. I do know about the filters. I'm never offended when someone messages, it usually amuses me and sometimes I even play along if the said initial message is particularly moronic. And if they consistently message, I just simply block. Tbf, most take the hint when I just delete. Oh and I do get the occasional yellow box from single women and couples. Honest Guv, promise I do, lol

You get messages reminding you your site support is running out too

You do realise that as a single bi guy I get nightly messages from 'straight' guys with monosyllabic messages in the vein of "fuck u now?".

Ultimately it's just a problem with men, regardless of orientation.

I never said you didn't. This is about me getting messages from people I'm not looking for. Do you not want messages from 'straight' guys? This wasn't about yours or anyone else's sexual orientation. Just the disappointment when I get messaged from someone I have zero interest in. You have a fantastic day good Sir.

I used to have all my message filters open, as it is good to network with other straight men in here (both of them lol), but the barrage of “discreet cock suck mate, nothing wanted in return” almost daily, was tedious. Then, the straw which broke the donkey’s back; “Wank/suck fun?”………

Like you I find it amusing how many straight men messaging wanting to suck me or convert me. I guess they don’t realise they ain’t straight. Wish I was as popular with the ladies or couples as I am with the men that I have interest in

I really wasn't having a dig. Sorry if it came across that way.

Or you mark a message as un-read just so you can see that magic yellow box again

I know . And I get it. The messages I get from single men are probably 60/65% from gay/bi and the rest 'straight'. So yeah, I fully understand what you mean.

Haha, I love the yellow box - especially when you log on in the morning, gives me some kind of endorphin rush!

It's always exciting but the disappointment can come from anyone depending on their responses.

Have had some great spontaneous back n fore messaging with people I don't expect to chat with.

Swings & roundabouts. Be polite and you may get rewarded x
