A guy queried why my verifications were dated so long ago.

1, Well there was this thing called a virus pandemic.

2, I got a vanilla boyfriend for nearly 2 years

3, it's too dam difficult to find someone I like who will actually arrange a meet.

What's your reasons? Should you be suspicious of someone with verifications dating back 2 years like me? I had more meets but they didn't all write a verification and most have left FAB.

Maybe they took time away but still kept their profile. Not to mention the pandemic as you said. But who knows?

It's only for us to judge whether it's safe enough to meet that person ourselves, not to judge the person themselves.

I wouldn't have a problem with it anyway

Veri's back dated would definitely not be something we would query at all.

Surely we all are aware that there are many valid reasons.

Veri's are veri's.

In a way it sort of shows that they're genuine as if they were made up, they'd have current dates. Being truthful shouldn't be such a hassle.

For us, taking lockdown and the last year overall into account, we understand some people stepped away and why.

So we can ignore a case of someone being off the scene for a bit.

But we've been messaged by couples with just one cam veri from 2018 or their last meet was in 2015.

And these where recent messages. When it's a couples account, it's a big red flag to us. Usually means the wife isn't into it or they split up. Get a few messages in and yes, that's the case it's just him lying to try and get meets. Happened more than once to us.

We get people step away and come back, we know that as took a couple of years out ourselves when our family was younger. But we also get some in here are taking the micky as well.

So we just try to be reasonable and judge accounts and their veris on a case by case basis.

I've had a couple query my verifications too. The fact we'd had a pandemic didn't seem important to them.

I may have dodged a bullet there.

I tell anyone I meet I don’t want or need verifications now, I have some that say we’ve met and I’m who I say I am so what more is there to know.

If anyone asks to see them I will show for a few minutes

Generally I will consider anyone with no veris in last 3 year's as inactive and quite dubious if trying to neet us..no disrespect to anyone in that situation it just means we would be extra cautious of being catfished - particularly if no new pics have been added for years either. On our couples account we have 200 plus veris but many of those date back years but we still manage the occasional social or connection at a club even if taking a play break which leads to new veris

There's a lot of catfishing on here.

Had one several months back who's veris where hidden (which is fair enough) but they (or probably he) sent us a couples photo of them both....which clearly showed on the profile as being uploaded in 2012.

Really? Some people eh?

I haven't been a paying member for over 3 years now so can't load any more photos and I don't want to delete my old photos but I would never cat fish. I always do video chat to make sure i like the look of that person before a social meet. I find men usually look worst than the photos lol
