I don't quite know why I decided to post this...perhaps because I have a relaxed day at work...anyhow. What's your feedback on this:

Yesterday i started receiving messages from a guy...supposedly the male half of a MF couple...he started saying how he liked what i was saying in my profile (not this one, somewhere else), how he'd love to meet me alongside his female partner...he even sent me a couple of videos with the two of them and friends in action so...I guess he seemed genuine enough...

Anyhow, the texting carried on until a few minutes ago this morning (noon where I am). It gradually became apparent that they were rigid, i.e. they were adamant that they could only meet after 8pm and ONLY in their place. I tried to find a compromising solution such as meeting at a hotel in my town (they have a car and I don't and there's some distance between us), or meeting during a Saturday morning for a relaxed encounter, i.e. chatting without pressures to do anything or promises etc...I asked him if he was willing to exchange addresses (I was ready to back down and get somebody else's car from the household and drive for about 30 miles after 23:00 due to this weekend's circumstances on order to meet them) and he wouldn't give me his (how he was expecting me to meet him somewhere undefined, in the dark after 23:00, at a seaside town is beyond me) It was evident that the guy was burning to meet a single guy for a shag with him and his Mrs AT THEIR PLACE, tonight if possible. Again anyhow, the conversation between us just stopped and I deleted his texts along with his mobile number. I'm asking genuinely, not sarcastically...should I have just dropped all the plans for this weekend and said "yes"? Is it my fault that it fizzled out before it even materialised?

No its doesen't matter if you are male or female if something doesen't feel right best not to go, you have no idea what you could have been walking into, the whole thing sounds dodgy to me.

Well I wouldn't "put my hand on the fire" as we say...all I saw were pics of him naked solo, a woman naked solo, and two-three videos of more than 3 people shagging...who knows?

Well I wouldn't "put my hand on the fire" as we say...all I saw were pics of him naked solo, a woman naked solo, and two-three videos of more than 3 people shagging...who knows?

Always do the cutlery test. Ask them to send a picture holding a a piece of cutlery of your choice. If they’re in the house there’s no logical reason they couldn’t do this.

Nope you were right to stop contact. Seems very fishy they won't give you the address. We would never meet without a social first anyway

Could have kids (1 of numerous) reasons it had to be after 8.

Could plan on being intoxicated enough not to driver, so had to be their place.

Could have been chatting to a few and one agreed before you did.

Basically wouldn't read to much into it all, chalk it down as experience and move on.

Safety first if someone is demanding you meet only on their terms that is a red flag.

If they were genuine they could easily have met you in a safe public place first etc etc...

Quite a few couples where I live are just single males.

Sounds like he just wanted to meet a single man.

Always try to pop on cam within the first messages etc to see both of them.

Well, I'm probably being verbose here but, as I said, due to this particular weekend's circumstances, there was a chance that I had to be somewhere even further away from where they are and I was still willing to get somebody else's car, late at night and drive to where they are...but no address? Yeah I think it is a bit dodgy....

Lol a bit random but i will definitely consider it next time. I mean he was supposed to be working 07:00 to 19:00 as a chef and he was using viber messenger until 02:00 today as I saw...Am I making 2+2 = 5 or being righteously suspicious? Who knows....

Just think with your head and not your manhood. If it sounds too good to be true or dodgy it probably is.

With couples I would always make sure beyond reasonable doubt that the Mrs actually exists and is aware of the situation.

Just received a text from him a few minutes ago:

He: 'if you wanted it, you would have found it' (the solution)

Me: Ironically, that's what I was trying to do when i suggested your coming to my town where there's two hotels within walking distance from me, around 21:00, early enough for you

He: We dont do hotels

Me: i was even willing to drive after 23:00, as you suggested, from my country house to your area but where do I stop? Somewhere on the beach?

He: we will tell you how to get here when you come over

There are some iffy people on here, regardless of gender. Had a woman ask to meet for coffee after a few messages. I said great what days are you usually free. She said now. I said it's 11pm, and I'm up at 5am for work and you're 15 miles away. She replied well off to the block list you go.

I mean, do some women honestly think that men will drop everything for the 'chance' of sex?

You are right...but I am overthinking....(it's just me being me) could it be a test to out who's a 'genuine male' and who's a 'timewaster'? Then again why would you invite a total stranger to your house straight to the fuck, no first meeting to establish chemistry etc etc...

You're right....

iffy, dodgy, too good to be true (jump straight to the fuck, we don't care how you look in person or whether you're carrying a jagged edge knife sort of thing)...although I'm not sure how 'good' that is in any way lol

We stop all conversation as soon as it becomes obvious it's just the male messaging. The chances of there actually being a female partner are quite small. I know that is how some couples do it but if the woman isn't involved in the decision to meet we're not interested and I think it's a good indicator of her willingness to be involved.

If we had made an exception asking us to jump through the kind of hoops he's suggested for you would stop us in our tracks.

You've missed out on nothing but a wasted journey late at night

100% this. A few years ago I was traveling to meet a woman who seemed a little flakey but we had been chatting for some time. Had a few naughty Skype sessions, a few late night calls and chat room shenanigans.

I got about halfway there and was stood in Birmingham New Street station and thought I would give her a call and a text giving my ETA.

There was no answer to the call and my WhatsApp messages weren't going through at all. My next train got cancelled so I was sat in the station with this sinking feeling.

I logged into Fab and her account was now gone too, a few alarm bells started to go off so I killed a bit of time, tried to call a few more times and eventually chose to turn around and head home rather than spend more time and money wandering into some random little town/village to meet someone I was pretty sure wouldn't be there.
