Can anyone recommendation any bars n pubs in the city centre?

The Old Trip to Jerusalem is worth a visit, proper pub with back rooms carved from the rock walls of the hill behind. I believe it is one of those that claims to be England's oldest pub or suchlike. Spent many a happy hour there in my youth with studenty friends

I'd second that, it's a fab place to visit but probably not that interesting from an adult entertainment point of view!

Ps: I wonder if Im one of your studenty friends, we're similar age and I studied in Nottingham for 6 years!

Ive never been in the trip but Nottinghams full of pubs and women......Head for the approach or somewhere central..... Nottingham was called the city of caves and then Snottingham till a king knocked the (S) off ..... Now locals call it shotingham because of all the gun crime

Enjoy your visit..... If you like history visit the galleries of justice and the caves in Broadmarsh center

Actually the trips only 17th centuary whereas the bell and the salutation are 15th centuary according to a local historian....... All are worth a visit
