Do you call yourself a Swinger ?

There is so much mockery and ignorance about swingers from the outside Vanilla world. This isn't helped by the media that often refer to the lifestyle as seedy or treat it as a comedy topic to be mocked. It took me a while to admit to myself that I am a Swinger and very proud to be part of the lifestyle community. Who else found it difficult in the beginning to admit to themselves that they were indeed a Swinger, and realised that the lifestyle in reality is completely different to what is portrayed in the media.

No I don’t as i am single. My view is swinging started from couples Singles have just exploded into it over time.

I just see myself as shagging about at times meeting new people

Yes I do.

I have enjoyed couples as a couple and I enjoy meeting both couples and single ladies as a single guy now.

Oh...just if any ladies are interested, I’m looking for a swinging partner, a partner in crime sonto speak

Yes, if anybody asks us about it. Although the term Ethically Non-Monogamous is a better conversation starter. Even though once we explain the term, it’s obvious we’re swingers, people don’t seem to jump to the stereotype of keys in a bowl

Such a mouthful though isn't it but it's true.... I think it's a more on trend term that's generally more accepted than swingers.

I can't deny though, we are swingers haha

Me alone am just a single guy who understands the swing lifestyle. When I'm with the wife we are swingers.

We have admitted to a few people, most have been ok about it a few have been judgy and one (who has tried the lifestyle) takes the piss due to some lame American "reality" show about swingers.

I don't think we're uninhibited enough to call ourselves swingers. Swinger-adjacent maybe? Or just exhibitionists

I was just the same in the very beginning of our journey so I totally understand where you are coming from. The lifestyle over the years has given me so much confidence I'm very happy to call myself a swinger. It's an interesting topic. It's a shame the media as a whole still has that dated image of swingers from the 1970s x

If its a label I need then yes I am. But the scene is alot more than what alot of people see it as. So many layers in preference and kinks.

We consider ourselves swingers.

In a previous relationship, my then partner spoke openly with her sister about it.

She was intrigued and enjoyed hearing what was shared with her.

She said to me one day, that we're weird because of it.

I pointed out that she was currently (whilst we were talking) sexting with a friend of the Man she intends to marry and that she'd already cheated him several times.

I said, one big difference between us is you find it normal to sneak, hide and lie.

I proud to be a swinger, I'm proud to enjoy this lifestyle and I have no shame in what I do. This is my life and my sexuality. Luckily I am also able to share this lifestyle with My Girl who is also a proud swinger.

Let the fools snigger and hate if they want. Age has taught me to give less fucks and we will continue to live our best lives.

100% we've never been shy about admitting it!

Don't care what people think about us, at the end of the day it's our life and we're having fun

Bridlington.

Very much so and have done since my (then) wife and I started in out twenties.

Now I tend to only meet couples who want an extra man (exceptions to every rule!) and 'swinging' seems to fit what we enjoy....

I am a swinger but I don't use the term to describe me as I think it still has bad connotations.
