We have noticed that there is a lot of "couples" profiles that state they are an active couple on their bio but post a status saying that it's just the male half available to play most nights.

Surely it's easier for everyone's enjoyment to make them have a single profile because they come up when real couples attempt to search for other real couples.

If it's only ever 1 of them meeting alone, it would qualify as a single profile. But, if it's a mixture of either 1 or both who meet together, it's their call on how they use their profile. Not all want multiple profiles. Report to Admin if it's inappropriate

There are genuine couples who do this too, the male is allowed to play solo so advertises through the couple profile

Please revisit my original post.

We're all for anyone to live their best life but the bio and what's happening are two different things.

It's clearly a common hack to get around the single male tag.

When we next see it we'll report it and block them, like we seem to do more often than actually meet people on here at the minute.

Most couples profiles are not like this though, so your choice to not meet is clearly down to you and your choice.

99% of time admin don't do anything about them. I don't bother reporting them now. And don't get me started on animals in pictures ones. No point what so ever.

I get messages from so so couples saying

‘My wife would love you’ etc .

Whenever you ask where she is she’s always at work , shops , away for a few days or and i know this sounds unbelievable but possibly she doesn’t exist at all .

No you didn't. We've had that. If they're genuinely a couple why on earth wouldn't she want to meet you socially too (unless they have a he chooses who she has sex with dynamic, that is a thing).

99% of time admin don't do anything about them. I don't bother reporting them now. And don't get me started on animals in pictures ones. No point what so ever. "

Not sure how you know admin do nothing as they don't tell the person reporting what action has been taken.

If something is reported they always check it out.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

The OP raises that age old question about fake profiles

Now before you jump on my back....not all couples profiles with man only playig are fake - but sadly most

They are men using the "couples" approach by way of trying to get in on a women of another couple

Does my head - but on the other side of the coin - its a great ploy if it works lol

Years ago on another site we had contact from a couple. After a couple of messages with photos of him we asked to see her. A photo came back of her or someone tightly clutching a towelling robe round her. Clearly she was either unaware what it was going to be used for or was a very reluctant participant. We hadn't asked for explicit or face photo. We politely said it seemed that she wasn't too keen so we'd leave it. There followed a message of such shocking vitriol from 'her' that we were quite taken aback, shortly after 'he' messaged to apologise begging (literally) us to meet them. We sometimes wonder what would have happened if we'd agreed and who would have turned up.

You get a lot of Therese profiles start conversation with single guys regards a potential meet etc but quickly give the game away when they have no couples pictures to send, no face pics or the best red flag ask about kik almost immediately….

Hardly any couples I’ve met ever mention kik, pretty sad really and more poor behaviour by certain single guys that ruin things for genuine blokes

Frauds come in all flavours, and in higher numbers than we'd first expect. That leaves a bad taste in the mouth and taints our perceptions, leaving those who may seem like frauds but are genuine out of luck with the tainted. Such is life, but let's not forget that guy's are not the problem. Bad humans are.

So many single girls want to bring a FB, and twice have just turned up with one. Mrs and myself told them to sling it. I understand personal safety, and I also understand that those gals should have just had a couples profile if they only meet as a cpl.

Catfishing with old pics or girls using very drastic face changing filters, others described as slim or athletic who are over average weight, sometimes obese. Also seen a few described as average or curvy but are slim/athletic. Maybe fab should just have measurements for our profiles, as words are open to interpretation.

People lied, cheated, stole, and killed for sex before the internet. It's the internet, expect to be lied to, scammed, and stalked. It's the wild west, and some people can be shite.

We currently and haven't been meeting for over three years. This mainly due to Mrs' health (early menopause being one issue) and my desire to play with her involved. If an irresistible offer for me to play alone pops up (none have in over ten years on fab) I'll consider it. Mrs had a meet solo in the past, and we don't like to leave the seesaw unbalanced. I haven't approached anyone to ask, like I said, it has to be offered, and then it has to really be something special. In recent months Mrs has been feeling better, a beast is awakening, desires and confidence returning. I will not fuck with her natural pace, or if she decides meets are a thing of the past. We both regularly read the forums, she uses her own profile (but doesn't like to post or comment), originally created when we lived in the chatrooms about 8 years ago and had two laptops.

Judge people or don't judge people... they aren't listening, they won't change, so really it's just wasting your time talking about something you don't like, instead of spending that time on something you do like. But yeah, a good occasional vent or rant is healthy. I certainly do it... and yes that is my time wasted. Irony is unescapable for us all, as are encountering reprobates online and in real.

I'd be interested to know if our profile pissed people off. Although it won't make me get a single guy profile, with no verifications, just incase I get a offered a night with Scarlett Johansson.

The only time we take things away from Fab is a quick Skype chat with all parties involved if we've never met before and if we've met and want to meet again, it's done by phone.
