I take it to mean accommodate in ones home but a hotel meet does not mean can accommodate

In the 9 years we hate been swinging we have always took this to mean that you can put the people up that you are playing with but after reading loads on here we might think it means something completely different.

Is the true meaning

A. You can put them up overnight

B. They just play at your house then go home or to a hotel afterwards?

I never allow anyone to stay overnight.

They are welcome to stay as long as we are comfortable with, but I make sure they know that when it comes to zzzz's they will be leaving.

In answer to your question though, I would say that originally it was A, but over time, B has become more the norm.

I would only let them stay overnight if I didn't have son at home

We have 3 spare beds so if someone has travelled then they could be welcome to stay for breakfast. But the usual for us is new people go home soon after play stops. Those that have become friends can stay for the weekend if they want.

I don't normally let anyone stay overnight unless I know them pretty well.

My own definition is that I can offer a room at a hotel where we can have fun without disruptions, where the gent can stay overnight if required.

I don't invite anyone home anymore as it stresses me out having to tidy the place.

If being able to offer an hotel room means you can accommodate then everybody can accommodate!

Not everyone can afford a hotel room.

talking about the definition of being able to accommodate:-they could save up for weeks if using a room was being able to accommodate, besides if they can't afford a room they probably can't afford to travel, does expecting a potential meet calling to collect you/bring you home constitute being able to travel??

We always take the idea that being able to accomodate only means playing at theirs. We would never, ever expect to stay over with anyone. We used to have regular meets with a couple in North Wales and many times we were asked to stay but we much prefer travelling home and spending the night in our own bed.

By the way we can't accomodate as our youngest still lives at home.

Sounds like our way of thinking now is starting to change.

It was all the single guy threads that when people say you cannot accommodate that got us thinking.

Ah well in that case we will have to change our profile as when playing on island (home) we always play at our house so can accommodate

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I find its best to ask the person what they mean by 'can accommodate' as many times I've been caught out by that on profiles. When it comes to arrange the meet it turns out they can only accommodate one Friday in four mid-afternoon.

To accommodate, to us, means playing at our house, it doesn't mean staying overnight.

If someone told us they can accommodate but then suggested a hotel we would not meet them (unless they had said that all along).

As mentioned in one of the threads in the Lounge this morning, some people have the cheek to ask for their travelling expenses to be paid for too.

Just because one does not believe that is right, does not mean others would or need to share the same view or opinion.

We got caught like that only yesterday, after a very long time chatting to a single guy he suddenly asked if we could accomodate to which I said no, why? He replied he'd just moved in with a girl so it could be tricky for him even though his profile still say's that he can accomodate!!! Conversation ended very quickly after that lol.

I can accom for play but I don't have sleep overs. I don't stay over at a guys either. The only exception to the rule is my FB, but we usually have a drink together too and I wouldn't drink & drive...I don't drink with other meets x

Like many others have said, we take "can accommodate" as "can provide playing facilities", we would't stay overnight and wouldn't allow anyone to stay over-night with us.

Although if we really trust someone and they've travelled a long way and have missed the last train, we DO have a spare room if absolutely necessary. - We're not THAT heartless, lol.

When we say we can accommodate it means option B.

We can't accommodate but if we see can accommodate on a profile we take it to mean play at theirs then leave.

We have stayed at couples houses before but never on a first meet.

i have never taken some who can accommodate to mean they will put me up over night

To me if someone says they can accommodate it means i can go to their house to play

I personally wouldnt have someone off here staying in my home over night, i would feel very odd having someone i met off a sex site in my house with me alone while i was asleep and i have never expected anyone to put me up over night either
