Is it just us or is it that online based swinging sites are now for people who want to talk about it. People that meet are few and far between and I would say in our experience, out of the hundreds of mail we get only 1 has proved to be genuine. Where have all the genuine swingers gone, coz we want to go there too.

We have no idea why, your profile and photos are good,..maybe you have just been unlucky,

We have only ever been let down once in four years, and find that most swingers are very genuine

There’s plenty of genuine swingers out there, having said that, the fact your looking for men who must be over 6.5 in girth and over 8 inches in length would suggest your going to struggle, we’re not saying they don’t exist, but finding a good few in your area could prove difficult.

Facial pictures can be forwarded on after contact and usually are, we are getting plenty of contacts, without a facial pic. We are soft in our approach and meets are arranged, but then the email comes. we never realisedthat so many guys worked nights and weekends, or sundenly decide that 50 miles is too far to travel, or have to get up early the next day, a fishing trip has come up, the dog has died, we have heard them all.

We had a very rare meet sorted out with a single guy.All set up with a couple of days to go,even gave him our moby,just incase he had problems finding us.Then all of a sudden he completely disappeared from the site,lock stock n barrel.

If you think it's tough as a couple or single female, imagine how tough it is as a single guy! The amount of people I have spoken to only for them to vanish, like someone said earlier, or just chat endlessly going absolutely nowhere...

Just stick in there, surely by now you are starting to get the feel of what these people are like? Trust your instincs and don't waste your time with them if you get the idea they aren't genuine.

I think nerves play a big part for most people, they're ok while they are talking about it, but when it comes to getting in a car and going to meet someone they get cold feet. I know I felt that way every time I left to meet someone, I just get over it and bite the bullet though, ended up standing outside a pub for 20 mins once just to calm myself, lol

Alternatively why don't you just go to a club? They're always genuine, and you may make a friend or two and start having regular meets with them, you don't have to play with anyone you don't like you know!

my first time ever i was sooooo nervous and wanted to bottle it and not turn up. i spoke to the couple and told them, but they were really reassuring and gave me the balls to turn up. so glad i did!

couples and women also do the same thing, i have found so many couples who have a family disaster the day before a meet etc. you give them the benefit of the doubt then you never hear from them again.

Traceandric are not only selective, as they should be but they do write in big capitals at the top of their something along the lines of reading the whole profile.

As their profile clearly states THEY will contact single guys if THEY want one we are not sure why "some guys think they dont match up 100% and lose confidence maybe" is an issue.......unless of course the single guy they have contacted, after checking out his profile has actually lied on his profile and is a beer swilling chubster with dirty chewed nails and no razor

As a couple we love profiles like that as it tells us exactly what folk do and dont like which saves time and red faces all round when a boundry is over stepped...............no tongues or fingers near bum holes........you dont know what you are missing ric

quite agree, we have been let down again tonight, but there is no point in naming and shaming or even reporting. on a free site, new name new identity in the time it takes to fill out the registration, so not much point. were not going to meet with anyone now unless they show up for a social meet first.

We had an empty house so decided to have a party and had 12-13 couples say they would love to come. 3 turned up!! All we can say is we had an 8 way orgy and fun was had by all. blimey, when I posted on the forums about non-responders folk were queuing up to dish out the abuse...You guys actually got some nice replies and constructive criticism...

I've been swinging on and off for about 8 years, firstly as a couple for about 4 years and then as a single guy on and off for 4 years...In my experience, most of my meets have come from personal reccomendations of mutual friends and clubs with only the tiniest percentage coming from so called swingers site.

In answer to your original question though, swingers sites are generally full of "chatters" as opposed to "meeters".

If you have a life outside of swinging e.g.professional, social, familial etc...who has the time to spend every night in chatroom establishing "rapport"? Each chatroom generally has it's own established "alpha" group so it's difficult to break into the circle. My understanding of the problem of correspondence has already been documented.

In short, I genuinely believe clubs are the only guaranteed way of meeting up with genuine people

I expect another tirade of abuse from the folk who think us single guys should be unseen and unheard but I hope my observations help

We can deal with the non reponders, thats not a problem, if people dont get back to us then at least we know that their not interested, its those that do respond and go through all the motions just to disappear on d day as such its more than just anoying because with a familly you have to move heaven and earth to free up the time and then bingo at the last minuite no show or a lame exscuse which gives you no chance to arrange anything else. Taking no chances this last time we responded to 15 guys who contacted us well in advance of a meet. All of these were willing to provide face pics, phone numbers and are verified on this site. Of that 15 not one proved to be genuine meeters and the excuses and the sudden silence was abundant.

Yes _adchick you are right this thread is about those that dont turn up and yes we are beginning to agree that single men are a lost cause, but its just not restricted to this site. Being a free site it has more than its fair share, but we are on pay sites where it also the same. From three seperate sites hundreds of mails less than 1% genuine, but its the old addage those that talk about it probably dont do it.
