I think most here are talking of not just the anklet but with the additional charms, the letters HW, or the word hotwife, sometimes a singular female symbol and two male symbols.

I am now focussing on ankles as a result of this great thread. Usually see one or two during a trip into town. Sometimes small charms have been added to the chain but without getting down on all fours it is commonly difficult to make them out. As noted by other contributors, it is great to let the imagination wander.
