I think on fab one can come before the other for me there was to be an attraction and connection as an older gent that’ gets more important

I don't think it's about switching off emotions. Emotions are fine and different people experience the world differently. Fab life gives you the ability tailor life to your mutual needs with others. I wouldn't be with someone I didn't like and hopefully vise versa. But it's ok to desire time and intimacy with people without having obligation to each other or having to something on top outside of the bedroom. It's ok to have good chemistry and connection but only enjoy it in that time and space. It's not any disrespect in it's self to enjoy someone but only want them in a certain time and space (providing it mutual). That is the essence of NSA. Sex, freindships and relationships are spectrum. Not neat little controlled boxes. As long as there is mutual respect for eachother and a shared objective all is good. Naturally if your left feeling depleted or sad after NSA encounters it's probably either you've been with the wrong people or your mindset just doesn't suit this concept (which is fine and perfectly valid).

It's also Ok to have a mixture of arrangements in your life. Such as a serious long-term relationship, some deep freindships with sexual elements, people you just regularly have sex with and a few one offs. It's a spectrum and you can mix and match. It's your life to tailor.

I dont think people switch off emotions, I dont think most people are able to do that, they simply enjoy the experience in thier own individual way. Its just a different level of relational depth.

I was left with an aweful feeling. Like a disposable sex toy. Sure, Its an ego boost feeling desired, and I need to have that feeling to get sexy. But that’s a mighty fall from a big height when I realised all they wanted was the sex, after all the build up etc.

So, I get fab, and how some people use it. And maybe I have used it that way, or a might again in the future. But it needs to be clear first. Ie - “This is a one off!!! “

I’d rather not have one offs, good sex is much deeper than a quick thrill.
