So we both have multiple tattoos and have professional jobs but find it surprising how many people still judge tattoos, even on here!

Anyone else experienced this? X

Seen a few threads where it's been said why we like our bodies "ruined" "mutilated " blah blah blah. Uve never been an issue within the working world, some family, friends make their dislike obvious. Mother still has a winge and tells me she hates them, I tell her I hate the "dribbles of shit" painting she has in the hallway.

Most of my comments are positive about my tattoo's, I wouldn't be offended if someone didn't like them each to their own, I love them and that's all that matters.

I’ve seen a few forum posts with people being negative about tattoos but nobody has directly said anything about mine.

They’d get a message full of four letter words if they did

Lol, despite how many we have it's still easy to cover them when needed

I’m surprised as I can’t think of anyone I know who hasn’t got some ink on their body. They’re so common these days I don’t give them a second glance now.

I’m probably the only person without any (and my Mum ) that I know of.

Professionally I know a few senior managers who have ink, it’s not an issue in my workplace.

Mine isn't visible normally but I've only ever had positive comments about it.

I had someone recently comment on the fact I have my previous partners initials on me. " Does that mean I have to see that every time I go down on you?"

My reply "No love, cuz it's never gonna happen!!!"

Each to their own. Life is too short so do what makes you happy and if that means 1000 tattoos and 50 piercings go ahead.

I've never had anyone judge me IRL but if they did then they're not for me and we all move on.

I've never had anyone comment negatively.

I wouldn't care anyway, my ink is extremely personal to me, it has meaning and I love it.

Just says fashion victim to us but it’s your body.

Removal clinics are a good investment right now.

I’m not a fan of them but I favour personal choice so if people want them, so be it

Dont think id ever put myself in a situation where id need or have to. I understand can be different other people but I dont see why anyone should have to unless offensive or a really bad one lol

I was gutted when I got turned down for that job as archbishop just because I had PRAISE SATAN tattooed on my forehead.
