Just back from a disappointing day at studland - we expected a few single guys, but every time we moved, we were followed - if I wanted 30 blokes at a time, it wouldn’t be on a public beach! - sorry for the rant, but come on guys, really

That sort of behaviour will give the local authorities justification to close it permanently.

It's so sad that so many guy's literally have zero idea how to act decently and in the appropriate way.

And very worrying for single females plus don't forget lot's of families close by.

Sorry to hear this - my wife and I are going to be there this week but will stick to the beach, set up and stay put bar a wander along the beach or into the sea. The guys in the dunes can be complete dicks and led solely by such and quite intimidating-need a swift ‘go away’ when unwelcome

The 'authoriyies' cannot close it permanently. It is a public beach, as such probably Crown property & the Home Office will not approve by-laws either for or against nude beaches.

That said, the pests who follow women and couples around need sorting out & they certainly are breaking the law if pestering.

My suggestion is to film any nuicance behaviour to and let it be known that you are we sending to he footage immediately to the p ok police.

Believe me it works.

Best stick to the main beach with your wife and you won’t get any hassles, both of you can enjoy naturism and get a sun tan in peace, avoid the dunes

Wife and I were there with two good friends last Friday. Lovely warm weather and we didn't have any problems from other males at all! We walked the dunes and only got followed by a lady in a security jacket that's all. I was going to challenge this "security" lady and ask her what her brief was as we had absolutely no intention of inappropriate behaviour.

It's a lovely beach and naturist area; don't be put off by reports of meercats etc, just go and enjoy.

I find the volume of activity and some people's lack of discretion at Studland problematic sometimes. We're pro sex out doors, it's hot and we like to do it. However we are very careful how we do this with discretion as we would never want to upset and offend anyone not consenting to be part of it.

Studland is a lovely beach that we have visited with some of our family. Naturally we want our selves and our family to feel safe and care free naked in a non-sexual environment just as the beach should be (same as any texil beach). We shouldn't have to feel slightly on edge because of the potential activities of others. It's not pleasant, especially when we are hoping for a society where women can feel safer and care free. Nothing against well hidden activities in the dunes. You just become a bit aware of the volume of meerkats on top of the dunes, dodgy advances and some of the activity doesn't seem to make much effort to be hidden. Which is sad. It also worries me that the amount of activity give the beech and naturism a bad press that may endanger the future of both. Nothing we can do apart from ask people to be careful and more mindful of the potential impact of their activities.

Maybe that's because the lady in a security jacket was out and about

The lady in the security jacket is very nice to talk to, unlike previous security guys. She appears to understand that "discreet" activity will always be present in the dunes. Those she is realy looking for are the blatent out in the open for everyone to see sex activities.

As it is she can not be everywhere at once and some are bound to take advantage once she has passed by.

I go there primarily for the sun, sand and sea, meet like minded folk, if anything else occurs that`s between me and whom I may meet.

Discretion as possible can be, offending and shocking and pestering people isn`t my thing.

Some like the attention of groups of guys some don`t, I usually give a thumbs up and beckoning hand sign if I fancy someone or a goodbye wave and no head shake if I`m not interested.

have fun ya`ll

Security lady came through twice yesterday, seemed nice enough and only seemed interested in patrolling the very first ridge of the dunes nearest the beach. Probably a good thing that she is there, much more visible than the people that used to sneak about years ago lol

Studland beautiful beach not been for a couple of years but will be later this year . We sat just on the edge of the dunes one time and got a lot of guys hanging around playing with them self . We only notice when a Male cpl behind us told some to f-off just think that's how you got to be with them or stay on the beach

It can be really nice there.

You can avoid that Wanking Dead if you set up on the main beach as they only hang out in the Dunes.

So sad that some guys ruin it for everyone, went there with my GF today and we weren't really approached by any guys but there were a few who kept parading and meercatting! I think the sheer volume of couples put them off but we were set up on the beach not the dunes. There were a handful of families in the naturist areas too so really, time and a place guys. The lady who patrols was actually welcome to make my gf feel a bit more welcome and secure. It's all good if you want to have fun in the dunes but the pushy guys really need to learn some boundaries they are giving solo fellas an undeserved bad rep. Some of us are swingers, some naturists maybe wait to be invited rather than creep on couples and single ladies?

Yet again, studland is a naturist beach...not a swingers beach. The two are not the same. Most naturist beaches are family beaches and sexual activity is frowned upon

I been going to studland for over 10 years now. The place has changed abit in popularity and the type of people who go there. I was shocked to see people with really loud music speakers and having a BBQ in the 'couple area'. I always hide in the gay area to avoid getting harassed. But since COVID times, more single men have been approaching me which for me is unwanted attention. I hid in the gay area for a reason! Lol. Going later this summer, haven't been since last year so be interested to see if I notice any more changes.

Exactly how I see it. It used to be purist naturist there. Activities used to happen but I noticed different types of people coming. I think they get me confused with a swinging couple. I go there just to sunbathe and relax. Can't think anything worst than sand stuck up your bits lol

Some of you are making it out to be a day of hell !!

Hundreds and hundreds of couples spend days on end on Studland with no problems whatsoever.

It depends on which part of the dunes you sit. If you sit to the right of the path where the very tanned, grey haired or bald fellas go then, yes, you will get them around you.

The beach is about a mile long, there are plenty of places to go where you won’t get any problems. If you sit on the beach it’s very unlikely you will even get spoken to.

I go with my partner occasionally and we’ve never been bothered.

Please don’t make it out to be a bad place, it isn’t. It’s the most beautiful, peaceful place ever.

The good points easily outweigh the bad points.

quite agree. We're there from next Monday and so looking forward to it. Being naked in the sea and on the beach is exhilarating. Only once had a problem in the dunes with unwanted attention and a hard return stare saw him going. On the beach itself, never any problems.

Well I definitely don't go into the dunes to sunbath. I'm on the beach area trying to hide from people, peacefully trying to sunbathe. It would be great, like 10 years ago to be peacefully left alone. I just noticed a shift in attitude and mannerisms of some people who go there. Generally during week day, non COVID times, its nice and quiet. Hence why I still love going there for years. Just recent times, too much unwanted attention. Just makes you want to keep your clothes on to avoid it.

There is path from the middle of the nudist beach to Ferry Road, If you were facing the sea the gay area is on the left of the path, the couple area to the right. But you will probably notice the areas if you take a stroll all the dunes. Have fun x

It`s not official just an arrangement that occurred organically, birds of a feather fuck....flock together.

Ideally you don`t want to bother a straight sunbather/couple with your gay activities keeping it discreet as possible.

It`s not official just an arrangement that occurred organically, birds of a feather fuck....flock together.

Ideally you don`t want to bother a straight sunbather/couple with your gay activities keeping it discreet as possible."

You make it sound like this beach isn't just for sunbathing haha

The ice cream boat is still there - different guy and boat from the one that used to be there 10-15yrs ago. But on hot days there is still an ice cream boat that comes a couple of times a day - listen out for the benny hill music, as that’s it’s jingle! Fitting really

Isn't it strange that some people think that if you like to be naked in public you are a swinger!

My wife has no interest in swinging, but loves to be naked in the sunshine, beach pool or countyside all appeal to get that all over tan.

We've been Studland a few times and always set up on the beach. On the walk through the meerkats are obvious though.

I've also met people, swingers, who think unless you are porn star quality, you should not be naked in public.

The dunes are higher at Morfa Dyffryn, but still contain the meercats....

We went last weekend for the first time. Generally loved it. We were on the beach, not the dunes. Looked quite busy in the dunes, with lots of men standing up and looking around. It was fine where we were though. Hope to go back this weekend, and maybe head into the dunes to see what its all about.

Watch out if you`re coming in to Poole from the North/East there`s 3 way control traffic lights at Crichel Mount Road meets B3369 leading to the Chain Link Ferry, it`s very slow going avoid it if you can.

Have fun.

Yes I avoid the crowds by going during the week day and school holidays. It's the actual drive to studland that can be tricky. We once went on a bank holiday...never again. Took us 4 hours to get home when usually it's 1 hour. I might not use the ferry on Monday if it's too crazy and get up super early as Monday gona be a scorcher

We were thinking about going into the dunes to see what it's all about there. Is this a good move, or would we be better off and safer on the beach? We are quite new to this, but fancy some more excitement rather than just a very tame beach.

You will be fine in the dunes. We started off on the beach and then set up on the edge of the dunes overlooking the beach.

Had a few lurkers around and you do spot guys sat down watching your every move. But we don’t mind that.

We have had a Guy approach us and he was very civil. He wanked off in front of us and a load more people came and watched. He finished and went away a couple of people stopped and chatted.

I am sure there are some people who are a pain. If I don’t want someone hanging around I just shake my head at them.

Check pitchup.com campsites in Studland.

If you are there for a longish stay.

If you're are day tripping the beach or dunes are great. The nude area is about the middle of the beach, there is signs there too.

Burnbake and ulwel campsite if you're looking for official campsites. Or do you mean putting up a small tent on the beach? The dunes are uneven so not sure how that would work. We bring beach tent and camp on the beach to keep the sun off

"Just back from a disappointing day at studland - we expected a few single guys, but every time we moved, we were followed - if I wanted 30 blokes at a time, it wouldn’t be on a public beach! - sorry for the rant, but come on guys, really

That sort of behaviour will give the local authorities justification to close it permanently.

It's so sad that so many guy's literally have zero idea how to act decently and in the appropriate way.

And very worrying for single females plus don't forget lot's of families close by.

Believe me it works."

Unfortunately you're wrong about closing the beach to naturists. The naturist beach is owned by the National Trust, and they can designate how it can be used without reference to the council. There have been several occasions over the past thirty years when the NT have considered removing the it's naturist status, partly because of the damage to the dunes and partly because of inappropriate behaviour. Don't give them an excuse to do so by indulging in the latter - it would be a great loss to thousands of true naturists.

Not entirely correct.

It is owned by the NT but they do have to liaise with the council over its use.

The NT have no plans to close the designated naturist part. They and the council see the beach as a tourist attraction that brings money into the area.

Don’t let people worry you into thinking the beach could be closed. It’s not going to be closed. (Source: My neighbour who is council /NT liaison)

It's nowhere as bad in clubs with single guys as it is on the beach but they can be a pain in the ass in clubs. Couples only nights are the way to go.

Sorry, you’ve misunderstood.

I was about 150 yards inside the naturist beach at the ferry end.

That far end is very relaxed compared to the centre of the beach where fellas patrol all day.

There were lots of couples and single women there.

I left my friend a number of times during the day as I swam and she wasn’t bothered once.

I’m not surprised that loads of couples walk the central path and turn left instead of right these days.

Historically, that area you're referring to was the gay side and most activity happens in the dunes. I'm only quoting from what I experienced and seen happen on the beach. Some attractive single women do get harrassed. Obviously your friend was fortunate that day, normally I get harrassed. Yesterday, I just got a few men really staring at me but I didn't go naked to give them any satisfaction. But on the odd occasion, when it's quiet, I do strip off and I get men really staring, parking really close by or coming up to me chatting to my friend but looking at me, hoping we suggest something. It's just annoying when you go there to just relax. If I wanted some action, I would go to the dunes and give signals. You see the difference? Just because you're a naturist, doesn't mean you want sex from strangers.

Can I ask what part of the beach you were on ? And can I recommend that you go to the far end of the beach and give it a try.

I saw a number of single women there yesterday who seemed to be very relaxed.

But that's not really the naturist area and when you're in a couple, you get less hassle from single men than you do if you're a single woman....is this what to expect in clubs?

Sorry, you’ve misunderstood.

I was about 150 yards inside the naturist beach at the ferry end.

That far end is very relaxed compared to the centre of the beach where fellas patrol all day.

There were lots of couples and single women there.

I left my friend a number of times during the day as I swam and she wasn’t bothered once.

I’m not surprised that loads of couples walk the central path and turn left instead of right these days.

(Edited as I got my right and left mixed up !)

It’s such a shame you experience that kind of thing. It’s well out of order.

I go different areas as I been going over 10 years now. I used to mainly go far left (if you're facing the sea) in the gay area. It was totally fine as I go really quiet times and the gay guys would never bother you or stare. Then since covid times, everything changed. I never go weekends, just during the week. I find the couple area more relaxing now but it's not perfect. People never used to stare, just go about their business. It used to be so quiet like everyone was quiet, respecting everyone else's peace and respecting their environment. Just things have changed for the worst. I even noticed more litter on the sand now....however, I saw the icecream boat yesterday which was good.

Mid season Studland can be overflowing with single guys. But I have never had too much problem with crowd control.

I regularly visit with my fuck buddy and have comfortably managed mmmf and mmmmf sessions - Julia loves it there as there are always horny strangers to play with. We will be back soon once the weather drops by a couple of degrees.

The ice cream boat stopped right in front of us yesterday. I love a lolly on a hot day. (Ooooh eeer missus !)

I absolutely agree about the rubbish. About 10 (maybe 15) years ago they took the rubbish bins away and there has been far too much rubbish since.

The guys in the NT buggies will stop and take your rubbish but it’s not ideal.

I’d hate to think that people see Studland as a beach full of rubbish and perverts though, it’s not like that at all.

It’s still probably the best place in the country to spend a sunny day.

We get so annoyed about rubbish. You carry everything to the beach so carry the rubbish back with you it’s such a simple process.

If you park at the NationalTrust car park there are wheelie bins. If not just take it home.

We both took a HUGE bin bag full of rubbish back with us 90 percent of it not ours… it’s a shame.

Everyone commented on it on the way back but not a single sole stopped to help. We drew a line at picking up the soaking baby wipes. Vile filthy *****!

Funnily I thought I would be safe in the water today...but again a "predator" tried to "chat" to me. I tried swimming away but difficult with the current so had to bluntly tell him to "piss off". He scampered off quickly as quickly as he arrived. Worst than being in a night club!

Blimey you're not having much luck, at getting some peace.

Maybe a sign with an up yours finger on it, but even that might attract the wrong type.

Maybe wag a disapproving finger at them and pull a towel over you for a bit.

It is difficult trying to keep to yourself.

Try and enjoy if you can.

It's my last day at Studland so maybe 3rd time lucky. One guy did try while I was sunbathing, I told my friend who just glared at him he quickly apolgised saying he only sitting there to have a drink then scurried off. He could of sat anywhere and he was definitely staring as he caught my friend glaring at him

Are you the guys who sat at the back of the beach with a paddle boards ?

Fella had bun, female absolutely stunning, started off with black bottoms on ? "

That was us yes. We parked up at Knoll beach car park and paddle boarded down. We didn't really know where we were going and didn't have internet reception so we couldn't check the message that we had been sent telling us where to go.

We were hoping to get into something but as a first trip we were happy - and the stunning lady at least had a double happy ending even if she didn't get spitroasted

We paddle boarded from knoll beach. We had intended on hitting old Harry rocks first but were too lazy to get out of bed in the morning so didn't arrive until 2pm

Yours would be kinda hard to miss lol

There was once an elderly gentleman walking along Studland beach with what appeared 10 inch hard on. He seemed very proud of himself lol

Well.... It's important to take pride in your achievements I guess"

On the actual beach isn't appropriate in our view, there were kids nearby where we parked up and being sexually aroused would just be wrong

Planning on going tomorrow but unlikely to get there much (if any) before noon....

Would it be optimistic to wonder if there may be any spaces left along the ferry road by then?

What are other's experiences of this?

It be risky as if it's great weather, it gets packed. Better chance at knoll beach but its £12 all day parking there

That's the point I am trying to make to "predators". It's unsociable and inappropriate to bother people or do sexual activities on the actual beach. Discreetly in dunes is fine. Ultimately it's a family beach where families walk by clothed, this behaviour gives lovely naturist a bad name which isn't deserved. Most naturist act respectfully.

We've never witnessed any sexual activities on the main beach. We've been followed into the sea by the odd creep, but that's about it.

I was on the beach yesterday, it was cloudy and only 22 degrees. Hardly anyone on the beach. We parked ourselves right over the far end nearest to Knoll beach side and still managed to get a "predator" sitting really close to us creepily staring at us. Ironically, I was fully dressed in summer clothes eating my lunch. My male friend was naked, he glared back at him, that didn't work. So he put his clothes back on then the guy scurried off sharpest away. My friend is a hardened naturist and studland lover for over 25 years, he couldn't believe the rudeness of these men now. But he did comment that this unwanted behaviour only happens when I go with him to Studland which sadly is only 1 or 2 times a year

You ended up on exactly the right spot.

Yes the internet reception is poor, but if you go up on the dunes towards the back you can usually get internet there.

I noticed she got a very quick nipple suck and your neighbour shared what he had with her while I was there.

Look forward to seeing you again. Your lady is absolutely stunning.

I parked in the NT car park. It's a bit of a trek to the naturist area but it was nice enough just walking along the water's edge.

It's my second visit to the naturist bit. The first was two years ago. This time i had a waterproof pouch for my phone and car key so i actually got to swim. It's a pain being there on your own and having nobody to watch your belonging while you swim lol

Oh and the ice cream boat did turn up but as i was leaving...nevermind

All in all a very pleasant afternoon
