Right does this sound a pile of **** or is it just me?

Arranged to meet a guy 2 hours ago. He only lived half hour from me. He was coming to mine. He had a sat nav.hour passed so I messaged him and he said he's lost and won't b long. Another hour passed and he's still lost. So I had said what's happening and he decided to give up and go home coz he was fed up of bein lost. What a load of rubbish. No wonder why people don't want to meet single guys. Got all dressed up for nothing really takes the piss x

It's a pile of **** don't think folk like this ever have any intention of meeting, women are the same believe me .. Been in the same situation more than once with the ladies. Bollox to them life's too short, onwards and upwards!

fruit cake indeed. how can you get "lost" with a sat nav? a bit late, yes...but lost????

I have had the same thing happen to me with a couple who baggered mr to book the hotel !!£40 wasted deposit and no shows who txt me to say they wer on there way !!!!aaaarrrrgggghhhh xx

I just don't know why people do it. Fair enough if your late but making out your on your way bt they not. And don't even give you a good excuse

far to many time wasters on here , so fucking annoying , i even went to a womans house for a meet a few weeks ago , knocked on the door and got turned away saying i had wrong address thing is i drove 8 mile for the meet well pissed off to say the least

I've got lost with Sat nav. there are times it messes up. I now use map and common sense.

Had this too. Yes defo book the hotel. I'm on my way. 2 hours later, sorry cant make it, 1 hour later, i'm on my way again, hour and a half later still no show. Stupid cow.

But like others have said, their loss. I have sine met a lovely woman who has made it all worth while. X

i arranged to meet a guy once in a pub, when I got there he met me outside, we went to the bar and bought a drink then he walked away over to a nearby table where about 6 of his mates were and said "this is the shag I was telling you about"! I left very red faced!

I was supposed to have a meet on Saturday got dressed up and he never showed, didn't even have the decency to say he wasn't coming.

I've had similar - posted it on another thread (can't remember which one). I decided not to wait too long - I think it was around 30 mins after the meet time that I went back online and got another one.

And after that meet was over I text him and he was STILL claiming to be on the motorway but had broken down.

He was full of it - never, ever, ever allow anyone - male, female, couples - to keep you waiting for hours. Have a strict cut off time and then move on. Unless they actually call and say they are running late - in which case how much flexibility you allow is your discretion. Personally, I would allow no more than 30 mins beyond when they think they are likely to arrive and then sack it. And I would text and bloody tell them.

Lateness of such a degree is just as rude, in my mind. We all have busy lives and our time is equally as important as theirs.

Some people are just bloody rude though. I hate the way so many single guys keep misbehaving and making life even harder for the rest of us. Ah well, onwards and upwards, and I hope the next one gives you the night of your life to make up for Mr Satnav

hi try a club this site is a waste of time for gen swings some are ok but most of them single men or maybe even a couple but never play .we would say get

Been there done that, several pubs stood outside shivering my tits off for them not to be there and no intention of being there either hence if I don't get a text from someone to say they are on their way, I don't leave my house, funnily enough its couples overall that have been the worst though I do think some have really been single guys

I'll say this from my point of view...

a girl with a cpl of verifies was messaging me frequently asking for meets.When I repeatedly asked for a phone contact(that means vocally and not via messaging), each time I was left with no answer.Ive seen her complain about timewasters...and of course the joys of having a few male pals on the site, had also received similar mails from her.So while shes naming and shaming one guy in particular on her status, one I known from parties and a good verification count, I messaged hime to say that shes calling him a timewaster.I certainly know I'm not a timewaster/fail to arrive meet.

If u see where I'm going with this..its why I wont jump on any moans about timewasters/noshows...I havent heard the full story and also think sometimes peoples choices are what let them down...nothing or nobody else.

As a single guy, I can normally sniff out fakes/timewasters/noshows...I dont know why others cant..especially those who have been around the fab block a few times.Then to come on the forums to moan about it..

quick clamber...prove ur genuine(and I bet send a mail)- the guy was 'off his nut'..no two questions about that...
