Getting chatted up in the supermarket

Yesterday I fancied scrambled eggs for lunch but not enough milk. Just grabbed my bag and took a walk up to Tescos and on the milk aisle got chatted up by a good looking guy in his late 30s. To say I was flattered was an understatement and ended up going to the pub with him for a drink. What an unexpected day I had.

That’s nice to hear, I think a lot of guts are scared to do that these days because of the recent few years of “leave women alone”

I’ve definitely wanted to but I always convince myself to Not bother them

The majority of men these days would not do this for fears of being labelled creepy or similar.

Terrible shame.

Get you !

And then got a pub lunch . Skills ,

Last month I was approached on the way to work , I was wearing bracers but just hanging , not , over my shoulders .

She sided up to me and whispered. Like I had tucked my skirt in my knickers “ erm excuse me , your suspenders are showing”

Ten minutes down the road. I wished I’d said something cleaver , like “oh now you’ve seen mine it’s only fair I should….”

Mind I’m still not sure if she was making a pass or just pulling me up on my tardiness.

That's great! I'm guessing he only took the shot because he recognised you from here? As others have said, the current climate is very much 'leave women alone unless they make the first move'. Even then, I think I'd be worried it was some kind of trick

Why put milk in scrambled egg? It ruins it by weighing it down, it does not make it fluffier. Scrambled eggs is literally just egg and seasoning.

No need waste Truffle, just put your eggs in a container along with truffle and the flavour will pass through to the eggs

Definitely. Butter, eggs, salt and pepper.

On another note - Char once had her "HotWife" necklace spotted in Tesco and the guy and she chatted for a while and swapped numbers while I hung around like a spare part. He never got in touch though

Alice has a naturally flirty smile, so some guys seem to think she's flirting even if she's not (or at least, not intentionally!). So, this seems to give them the courage to flirt back, thinking that she made the first step.

It always gives her a bit of a spring in her step.

Probably also depends on where you are - if the place you live in does/doesn't have a culture of aggression and hostility, people probably are more likely to talk to strangers out of the blue
