Ladies what is your choice? I'm so fed up of the razor rash, the unsightliness and how often I'm having to do it. There must be something easier.

What do you do? I couldn't go back to pro waxing.

We both shave regularly. Normally just in the shower, and instead of shaving cream/gel we use conditioner. Top tip!

Your fantasies

I get horrible razor rash and am allergic to veet so I go get waxed at the beauty salon every 5 weeks. I just take a paracetamol before hand so it doesn't hurt so bad. Love how it looks and feels after.

My wife had hers lasered off apart from a strip she chose to keep.

Convenient for her and no uncomfortable shaving rash etc.

The fact it is perfectly smooth and looks great is an added bonus i would have to add!

Avoid shaving rash with body lotion immediately afterwards.Hair removal cream is smelly and not necessarily kind to sensitive skin.Other than that waxing is probably most effective

I get him to do it using his razor. Mens razor so much better then ladies and he gets to make sure don't miss any as he's very close. Post shaving balm then body lotion afterwards, smooth as babies bum lol

It's sexy and relaxing too being pampered down there

I have mine waxed at a salon every 6 weeks been doing it for about 5 years. Don’t find it painful at all now. Been considering laser removal recently, currently researching where to go that’s not too far away. Steve shaves in the shower x

Another vote for lasering here.

No rash, no stubble, just lovely soft skin

Shave with a blokes Gillette fusion razor, fanny every day otherwise it itches when it starts growing back in. Legs and pits every other day. Moisturise.

Waxed all over here. Different waxes have different pain levels. I always have a Lycon wax. It does hurt but in time, hair grows back so finely. The smooth result feels so fresh. Mrs SW

I swear by IPL at home. Been doing it occasionally for the past 18 months now and no growth at all.

Was having this conversation with one of my friends the other day. He says he shaves his ass with a razor in a mirror. Can’t help but think this is really awkward. How do other guys do it? Interested to know.

Can't shave, wax or use Veet either. Thought I was destined to just trim... Until I found out about magic foof powder. Well that's what all the ladies called it

Amazing stuff and gets me so very smooth

I've read that a single blade razor is better for us ladies, be it I've not tried a single one. Usually a good priced Gillette one followed by soke organic coconut oil

Wax yourself, get one of those little heat up pots and some wax beads. It's not that bad, plus you can drink wine in-between.

Or use magic powder, get it on Amazon.

Ive just purchased a self hot wax kit... Still plucking up the courage to use it. Decided to try as tired of the ingrowing hairs.

Can I ask you knowledgeable bunch... How long does the hair need to be! If it's too long will it hurt? Will it stop ingrowing hairs?

I'm such a novice of waxing

Those who have lasered... Can you explain please. How many sessions do you need? Does it hurt? Etc

Reply privatelyReply in forumReply +quote

Please bear in mind I’m no expert.

I had 12 sessions then a top up every 12 months

As I understand it -

There are two types of laser

IPL and hospital grade,

Hospital grade is more expensive but I believe more effective more quickly - this is what I had

It can be a bit painful but if they cool the area with an ice pack first it’s almost pain free. The skin is a little sore and red after but you treat it with aloe Vera gel and it’s soon better

I’m sure someone will know more than me, but it should give you an idea

Shaving & creams are hard to do the sensitive & tricky to reach areas.. Getting someone to wax surely gotta be the best option?

Personally I was told by a woman some years ago to use hair conditioner, and it works really well, only the cheap stuff from home bargains an such
