A monochrome background is always good. Study the light before you shoot and get a feeling for what strikes you as beautiful in nude/erotic photography. Mapplethorpe is fantastic. That doesn't mean we can all be Mapplethorpes!

Get dressed up and flounce about like you’re in a Pirelli calendar.

Lots of leaning over and different lighting sources.

The effect on one of mine I like best has the sunlight coming through blinds. Shame the subject material wasn’t all that, but you’ve got to work with what you have.

We tend to take and post pics that make us laugh, or at least smile, as we try not to take it all too seriously and hope that the people that might be interested in us are the same.
