Changing ages?

Do people change their ages on here? I left fab for a while and decided to come back.

I noticed that a lot of people who were much older than me when I initially joined, are suddenly now claiming to be years younger than me (I notice because I have a tendency towards older types)

Is it a common thing for people to change their age on here? Is there an age verification process that could be added?

We’ve seen that. Guys who were early 50s 5 years ago are now 49 etc

It's possible to change your age once. After that you need to contact admin.

I turned the magic 60 in April and it's amazing how many profiles that precludes. It will be worse next year because many set theirs to 60. It is frustrating because I don't feel 60 and people who know me are surprised and would put at around 50.

Must be the daily moisturiser routine (not) that I have to thank

However I do feel that honesty is the best policy in relation to age.

There are some women and couples who look like they would be an ideal match that I cannot reach out to, which is frustrating.

I've had quite a few men claim they made a mistake when putting birth date in ,pointed out they can ask admin to change it,they never do and 9 times out of 10 they later confess it's to get over age limits.....I prefer honestly

I've had a few encounters with people who are 10 plus years what they say. I guess if they said there real age I might not of met them

Oh they leave at 65 years old and rejoin at 45 . I guess that would be impossible for admin to monitor.

Very few people genuinely look much younger than they really are. It's kind of like the emperors new clothes, everyone knows they're telling fibs but nobody wants to be the one to say it.
