What's people's worst excuses they've had for someone not showing up for a meet? We very recently had a guy message saying he was on his way he'll be about 30 minutes. Messages again 20 minutes later saying he won't be coming as his car has its mot in 3 days so he's turned around and gone home lol

We had a couple tell us that one of them had an emergency abroad and they were on the way to the airport instead, what caught them out was the fact we chatted about holidays a few days before & they said that they didn’t have passports.

Where do I start!

It’s actually nice to get an excuse. Far too many guys just go silent either at the mention of a meet or the day of the meet / day before.

Most we find have blocked us on here or just ignore texts.

Absolutely beyond frustrating how often it happens

Wish we could leave negative (but constructive) feedback to help others avoid the flakes.

As for some of the excuses:

- my battery died and I didn’t have a charger

- a regular couple I play with have messaged and she wants me tonight so I’m gonna have to cancel on you

- I was too busy with work to message you (after 3 days!)

- one guy said he was free the next day, we arranged a social meet and once the venue and time were arranged (lunch) he then replied “I’ll have to confirm in the morning as I might have another meet lined up. Why say you are free and why leave us hanging incase the other meet happens???

So many more too!
