Is it just me or does it seem oneliner messages are acceptable from women/couples and not single men? 3 quarters of the messages I get are mainly oneliners! Double standards or what??

Can be true, but single men are in far less demand than ladies or straight couples. Those are the facts - sorry! (Damn! Almost two lines there!lol)

I usually just send a one-liner - my current favourite is:-

'So I'm really into wife-swapping the only problem is they keep giving me mine back'

Boom Boom!

If I don't get a joke then the couple/fem/man don't get a reply and are blocked. I very seldom send initial messages but I'd never send a "fancy a fuck"...oh apart from to Evesham and Minxie t'other night...(one of them said yes!!!!)

psssst.... you always have the option of not answering it....

its only a double standard if you feed into it..........

And also couples and single females probably have a half decent profile stating who they are and what they are looking for, 'most' single men's profiles normally only have a couple of lines, so people don't really have much to go on, if they are sending you a first messge!

Probably why a one liner message is sent

I don't care who sends me what as long as they make it interesting.....

I found that all couples (bar one) who messaged me sent one line, whereas it is just most men. Once or twice I've responded to a guy who says something pithy in that single line or who just by oozing that certain je ne sais quoi gets me going.

i have been pleasantly surprised by some men i have met who only sent one liners, sometimes its better then people who spout a load of old bulshit.

i prefer them to say a bit more in their messages though and at least sound friendly, not like some who think they might be doing me a favour, or who think i am not at all fussy.

If I think you're fit one line is enough!

I have arranged meets in four messages

We were only talking about this at the weekend....

Had 3 messages from single females over the last couple of weeks and they have all been one liners. Yet 2 of them had that they delete one liners in their profiles.
