Thanks for your detailed reply _ussyonfire. Completely understand where you're coming from but I think you've overstated my position (fnar fnar), since I agree with almost everything you say! I absolutely agree that people have preferences and nowhere have I said I see it as 'discrimination' in the accepted sense of the word. Swinging will reflect the prejudices of the real world and to be honest even racists/sexists/misogynists etc should be able to swing too, but they have to pick their potential partners more carefully! "I agree but it's the black on white skin that gets me excited, altho i gotta admit i'd prefer a gentleman to a guy who thinks himself a badass! i still want my lady to be treated with respect You are right about the mixed colour stuff...As a black guy i find it so hard to get attracted by black ladies ( Hope some sista wont kill me for this )....But give me any white lady and i am on fire...I only date 1 black girl out of the so many gf i had. That is utter bollocks "Not entirely bollocks - I was once told (by a black girl) that I've forgotten how to dance with a black girl. Firstly: how does a black girl dance that as a black guy, I'd have to go into "dancing with a black girl" mode that is so different? am I set to a default "dancing with a white/latino/greek/oriental girl" mode? Secondly: perhaps it wasn't that I forgot - maybe I just grew up around a number of black girls that (as commonly portrayed) cant tell the difference between confident/assertive.. and plain aggressive/rude. Is that the attitude? Third: How does one "chat up a black girl"? Are there certain things you say/do/approach that may work and keep the attention of a white/latino/oriental/jewish girl but will be a straight turn off with a black girl, and vice versa some hidden gem of a witty opener it gets a black girl dripping liek a bucket,.. but has zero meaning to a white/latino/oriental/jewish girl?? I grew up in one of the most diverse London boroughs 32 languages are spoken people from all around the world. I also work with the general public now some people are just rude and lacking in social skills and this applies to people from all races. One chat's up a black girl the same way you would any other woman. Well I do anyway if they like me all good if they don't I wish them well. I don't do any better or worse with black, mixed race or white women. I have not mentioned other groups as I don't come into contact with them in the same numbers. It would be unfair to compare them as I don't have the experience. You see when you assume people are all similar because they are the same colour it starts to cloud your judgement." And yeah, I know what you mean about being around different groups of people socially - I likewise live in a very diverse borough.. BUT.. you should see the looks TattooedHB and I get sometimes from other black women when we're casually out and about... makes me appreciate the swinging world a whole lot more!
