Sometimes the unrealistic scenes annoy me, i find myself drifting onto the practicalities of the situation. For example, a scene where the guy does anal penetration, then vaginal and back again. Practically, how did they prep for that? Is it sanitary? Does the gents knob hurt? So many tangents

I get porn is supposed to be stuff of fantasy, or accepted for being unrealistic, but occasionally folk apply porn to real life and thats where problems can arise.

Has anyone ever learned anything useful/helpful from porn?

I once watched a movie spoof porn based on Crouching tiger hidden dragon film. A couple were flying above the forest while fucking each other. Hilarious stuff.

Seriously though, porn is just porn. I think no one should take inspiration from it. They do a lot of prep that none of us do.

I'm guessing they pause to wash in-between so that they don't cause infections? Or at least I hope so. That stresses me out too because then guys IRL think they can do it and it can get awkward! Lol

yep they do that why its done over a couple days so it may look ass to vag or ass to mouth but its not ...ive been asked to this ass to mouth and i say to the guy ok you first let shove a dildo up your ass then you lick n suck it after ... none ever do .... hence ive never done ass to mouth ... and anal to vag is one condom for anal and a new one for vaginal ... yep i douch but i would not eat my dinner from there

No, I don't watch behind the scenes porn documentaries on Channel 5. I had no idea they existed.

As foxy foxynhub said they do the preparation that can take a couple of days before the shoot. I listened to a podcast where the performer had done two days preparation just for the shoot to be cancelled, boy was she angry. From the threads on Fab and articles elsewhere people who like anal prepare from a day to a few hours before a meet. So I don't find the concept of anal to vaginal unrealistic. What is unrealistic is that a random strangers would have done the necessary preparation for rimming or anal sex.

But as Dr Ruth said years ago on Woman's Hour, porn is fantasy and as long people accept it as that for masturbatory purposes and get educated there is no harm. The biggest issue is the pushback against proper sexual education by the religious right.

I don't go to a Marvel Film and complain about men turning into green and becoming powerful or the existence of norse gods. Nor, do I complain how unrealistic Mama Mia is (both parts) which I watched with my mother and is 3 hours of my life (felt like 3 years)which I won't get back.

I think the problem with porn and safety and health aspects is that there is apparently a huge problem with youngsters thinking it’s realistic and not preparing properly or understanding how to do things safely and the normalising of certain acts that many aren’t actually interested in doing.

Apparently this is leading to a lot of medical harm issues among youngsters too

I agree education is key but perhaps better control of porn is too?
