I’ve got the inside track from my wife regarding men’s profiles and whether they get any traction or not. There have been several posts recently from men either bemoaning their lack of responses or genuinely asking for advice, so I hope the following helps:

1) pics - keep the Willy pics in private. Can understand not putting face pics up if discretion is needed (work, relationship status, etc), but try to leave a bit to the imagination

2) bio - add detail, a bit about yourself, what you are looking for, what brought you to FAB and previous experiences

3) age range - 18-99 will put some off, maybe go 10 years either side of your age (unless you are very young). It will show discernment

4) forum chat - get involved in the threads. Some will ignore you and there are some cliques within some threads but say something interesting and contribute, you may get some traction over time

5) patience - remember that girls get bombarded so some messages will get missed. It all takes time, going in guns blazing may not work. When sending messages, pitch yourself and mention something that caught your eye from their profile (beyond big tits and a nice bum)

I’m no expert and my wife’s opinions are not those of every female on here but hopefully the advice above may serve some purpose.

A lot of profiles are really basic, and obviously a lot of guys show dock pics.

It's not surprising that a lot of women are put off

This of course doesn't begin to cover the amount of strange folk that pester people non stop.

It's a swing site but a lot of people mistake that for a sex site and there certainly is a difference.

Face it lads not all women want to have sex with you just like that

Thanks for the advice. I’ve also seen loads of posts advising couples to have pictures of the male and female as they are suspicious of couples profiles that only have pictures of the female.

Duly noted about couple pics but thankfully we’ve been verified by 2 people so hopefully that dispels any concerns regarding us
