Same reason short guys, tall guys, thin guys, muscle guys etc can't get meets. It down to what others are looking. All you can do is make your profile the best it can be, take some interesting photos and send out polite and interesting messages to those profiles that interests you and most importantly almost match what you have to offer.

I’d say there are a number of factors at play. As a lot of others have said are you representing yourself as best as you can. Also the way that the site is the statistics don’t fall in your favour. Add into that the plato distribution of chances of getting someone to meet you. Some factors you can change others you can’t maximise what you can

Unrealistic expectations are your first issue I would suspect.

The prevailing opinion seems to be that your profile is the main issue, that may or may not be true, I haven't looked.

Going through messages on our couples profile though, we get a fair few, the vast majority are mind bogglingly lazy. Not just from single chaps either, it seems fab has become a numbers game, bang out as many messages to as many people as you can and hope something sticks. When frustration inevitably sets in after writing "hi" or "fancy some fun" 200+ times, it seems like a good idea to start a thread on the forums questioning why nobody likes you. It's been done a thousand times before. Not saying the op is guilty of the lazy scatter gun approach to communication, I wouldn't know, more of a general rant/observation
