Hi everyone. Im new here. Had a few meets. Went well, all above board, fun, move on, or keep in touch. However I’ve had a lot of messages from different accounts obviously tying up people who’ve verified me. Brushed it off until they named the real name and address of a meet, threatened to tell my work about me being here. I’d block and report, alter my filters but they seem to have multiple accounts. Im figuring an ex meet of a veri? Anyone else have anything similar?

That’s just bloody horrible for you!!

We made most of our pics friends only due to a stalker type thing. We hope you get it sorted, we suggest you report the account straight away and any other account that does the same to you!

no I don’t what I mean is they messaged stating the name of my meet so obviously knew who they were

oh I get what you mean. No I don’t say where I work, however when they suggested they knew me and to say to my work the bluff made me question maybe something gave me away

Dear OP

My heart goes out to you and I know from personal experince how upsetting this can be - without stating the obvious

1. Report ANYONE who offends or threatens

2. Block them

If it persists report them to the police

I have written about this subject a few times because it happened to me twice on FAB's over last 4 years and it was a very scary time

sorry you're going through this OP

i don't really have any advice im afraid, other than just steel it out and pretend it doesn't bother you.

my partner and i have had this on and off for a few years.

profiles will crop up, always saying vile things about me, about our life.. they even posted about the area i live in, made reference to my children etc etc.

between us we can only think it was one of his exes.

we just let them crack on.. nothing we could do about it besides reporting the profile.

I had people become stalkerish. I had one go through my phone as i used the loo and found my facebook.. one other followed me and saw what bus i got on and i lived in a very small village.. this is why i only meet in clubs or when im not in my home county now.

Call me a liar but i never give out my real story and details because i dont want my fab life crossing in to my real life. Its not worth being truthful when someone tells my 96 year old granny what i do in detail. I would rather be called out in a lie then my family get hurt.

Don't post public face pics.

Don't post private naked/play photos that show your face.

Any face pics you use, make sure they are 100% vanilla and fully clothed.

That way you can easily deny the profile is yours if need be if someone threatens to out you.

Hi op

Sorry you're having this,it's so horrible,please block if you haven't and report the profile(s).

I'd block new profiles ,that gives you a few days grace if they reappear and maybe block everyone but site supporters.They might think twice if they have to pay £5 to be able to message you Everytime.

Screen shot everything.

Send them a final message telling them to stop contacting you.

Then log it with the police.

Report the profiles to admin on here.

Thank you everyone. It was a few weeks back and it’s stopped but I can’t help but think it’s because I’ve altered my message filters and they are just waiting to go again. I will take the advice from above if they did x
