Is it just me or do others like their meets (at a home or hotel perhaps) to be warm, welcoming, sensual?

Have a place clean, tidy and smelling good?

Low lighting perhaps, maybe even candles. Music. No TV.

I just don't find it particularly alluring when it's so bright it's like an airport lounge and the news is on the telly.

Am I asking too much?

i have to be honest if its a first meet id sooner it not be to mood setting

i wouldnt want to walk into someones house that was candle lite with Barry White singing on the Cd player

i would feel that he was being a but presumptous for a first meet and it would make me feel uncomfy and like the night had already ben planned

Completely agree.

When it's like that a guy can get a tad nervous - esp in the presence of a couple - it can be a bit weird.

But at least have the telly off so you can talk to each other without checking out the latest in the US Presidential elections.

Well the first option sounds far better but some people do like a different setting.

I can only speak for myself but of a first meet id sooner normal lighting be on, normal music be on and just sit and have a chat, onced we have decided we like each other and theres an attraction thats another matter

i just think it could be a little awkwards telling a guy hes not your type when hes been flirting with you over candle lite champers with smoochy ,much is the back ground all night lol

infact if im really going to be honest i dont do home visits first meet, i always meet in a public place as i find it easier to be myself and relax when im not alone with someone new and feeling under pressure and not sure when they going to come over and ask for a kiss lol

i had that before, i met a guy in a hotel, was supposed to be just for a drink and a chat and play if we got on, but as soon as i got in the room he was all over me asking for a kiss and touching, so i avoid that situation now days

One of the first threesomes I ever had was at the guy's house (they were going out but not living together) and when the lass had let me in she went back to cooking the guy's tea while I sat in the sofa next to the guy who was watching some soap on the tv. They both said hello and everything and chatted to me (her from the kitchen, him without taking his eyes from the tv) but until he had had his tea it was quite surreal. Then when he had finished eating and she had washed dishes she sat between us and we chatted about everyday stuff for about half an hour before the guy suddenly said 'well are we going to play then?' And pulled his lasses top off... After that it turned into a very enjoyable, relaxed and more 'traditional' meet, but the first part was a little weird to be honest.
