It amazes me how many profiles that’s been on over a year without being verified. I think these are fake profiles and should be removed if your not going to meet then why be on here

A lot of people set up accounts in lockdown which was only just over a year ago.

Who knows maybe they are still trying to find their feet, undecided or whatever else…

What difference does it make to you?

I've met 2 guys without varis. Very nice and genuine guys.

Glad I took the chance on them and didn't judge because of the lack of verifications.

Been on here quite a while. Initially just occasionally dropping in to see who was about. Sent a few messages and winks, but no responses. About a year ago I became more active on the site and upgraded to silver site supporter. I've become more active on the forums and have had some interest. Unfortunately nothing has become of the interest so far, but there are a few possibilities.

So here I am, on the site for over a year, genuinely looking for meets, but still unverified. I suppose my message is don't overlook us unverifieds. We're not all fakes!

I dont think you can really judge everyone's motives for being here.

Some might not have been successful if there search or have not felt comfortable enough to met yet.

Not everyone uses the site for finding new partners, or leaves veris when meeting.

Advanced search options allow us all to filter out those who don't match our preferences, so there's not any imposed need to view others who, for example, are not verified.

Lockdowns were tougher in many places and people have been taking their own precautions, to protect the health of others and themselves. Health is more important than sex.

Why are you bothered by this OP.

I'm unverified been here about a month in this visit to fab .messed around trying to get my profile to the piont where it is more reflective of what I'm looking for this time around now I'm thinking about maybe some more pictures to try and show me in my best light.

I don't care what others are upto on here, what they are looking for or if they have a veri or not . I'm far to busy inbetween playing around on here as a bit of relaxing fun and in my general life to busy to waste anytime time worrying about such things as why aren't you verified .

A poster complaining about profiles that are not verified calling them fake who is himself on a profile that's over a year old without a single meet verification!! Not even a cam verification either.

The op had the green tick so be he has a veri at the very least he just isnt photo veried.

As for removing people who have been on a year what a ridiculous suggestion op.You don't need to interact with anyone who isn't veried so why does it bother you that much just ignore profiles that aren't veired see that's the easy solution to your issue.Quite a few people don't do veris either so it doesn't mean they aren't meeting.

And if people don't want to meet that's their business it's certainly not yours. No one is forced to meet off here and have sex with anyone else that they don't want to have sex with.

I dont think you should remove people just because they havent met anyone. Everyone uses the site for different reasons. If they arrange meets and dont turn up then thats different. But thats a different reason.

And it is everybody else’s choice to use this site the way they see fit as long as they abide by the rules. If all they want to do is read the forums, look at photos, chat online and not meet in person who are you to determine they should or should not be here?

Their profile may have been a sour of the moment thing to do then neglected or perhaps as suggested above they are more after chats, forum posts or perving pictures. All valid reasons.

That said I would be wary of expecting an actual meet from such people.

Does the green tick mean you have verifications but wish not to show them or sent a photo of yourself with your profile name written on a piece of paper.

There are far to many profiles that are not verified. We tend to avoid these. Green ticks only accounts can be a bit of a red flag for us too. Especially if they don’t show their veris. Anyone could easily set up an 2nd account and veri it from their main one. Displaying verifications at least gives people the option to look at the other profiles that have verified them.

FAB should definitely make photo verification a requirement to join.

If we like the look of people, it's a yes, fine, let's meet for a social drink.

If that's a no show at least Paul and I have had a nice evening in the pub.

From our experience email table tennis means a no show or late cancellation.

Some like to talk, some like to do.

I think anyone who thinks xyz profiles should be deleted should have their own profile deleted.

I also think people should run their profiles however they see fit (within site rules of course) and how people run their profiles is nobody else's business.

The green flag means you are photo veired.

Yeah, but some of us don't want to go to clubs, we are looking for different things. Anyway, totally disagree with what the OP is saying. We've had a pandemic which has put a lot of people off meeting. Personally being a 62 year old married man with permission isn't going to set the world alight but I've made some friends to chat to, so what if I haven't actually met anyone yet? I'm polite, friendly, contribute, follow the rules and I pay my money. It's no one else's business.

I didn't say you had to play. Go for the social aspect and meet people, get verified.
