"i am wondering i have let my fitness levels drop over the past year due to job hunting and settling in my job. now i am naturally a slim and athletic guy, but am wondering if I should start to work out and build up some muscle, at least get toned and some muscle not massive. What do people think is well built good?" Working out isn't going to put much muscle on you , it will sculpt what you have. If you do want muscle then 70% is down to diet , 30% a tailored training plan that is progressive but achievable ! Realistically you will need to diet and train about 4/6 times a week for 16 weeks before you notice much change ! Most give up in first month because they don't see results , if you want help inbox me , I am competing in the world powerlifting championships this weekend I will show you some pics next week if you are interested !

What do people think is well built good?" If your unhappy with your fitness then you know it's time to workout. First thing you need to do is get yourself mentally prepared, there are so many people at my gym that train for a few weeks then you never see them again and that's a shame. What are you willing to push yourself through? Here's some food for thought that you can google for more info: Insanity Workout - you workout at home, some gyms offer this system. It's an all over body workout that will get you fit but is designed to give you a beach body. P90X - Similar to the above but in my personal experience, much tougher. This is also a home workout. British Military Fitness - all over the UK, based outdoors and is great for general fitness. Crossfit - My favourite, this will tear you a new one. It's main aim is strength and conditioning at high intensity and minimum rest. I train on this system 3 times per week along with over methods. If you want the best benefits then this is the one. It'll take me ages to go into food tips but try using www.greatist.com full of info, it's American but has been a great source of info for me. Hope what I've written helps. Mr. C

"I've seen the ads for insanity and I'm considering getting it. Sean T looks like a hard task master! " If you know where to look you can get it for free……., but insanity is the right name for it. It’s only for the really dedicated.

"Dan if you wanna try something a bit different, try crossfit. It's a mixture of weight lifting, circuit training, gymnastics and cardio. Is good fun and great for general fitness and toning. " very good recommendation ![]() ![]() ![]()
