Someone will have mentioned the location, possibly in all innocence, within earshot of the wrong people.

north west

those gates were shut last night but not by the local council but 3 car loads of kids who parked down the road the walked 100 yards with their own padlock and shut the gate and ran off shouting abuse , so the guys were praying for a team of pickeys to help them , lucky I was out late or I could have been one as well

it is quiet funny if you were not one of the guys , worse thing was all I could do was offer a lift as the gate impossible to open unless you had a cutting machine

In a similar vein, a popular dogging site in Ayrshire was shut by a group of local residents who installed and paid for their own gate which they kept locked from 8pm -8am.

No planning permission. No complaints to or from the council.
