We've enjoyed both over the years.

There's the adrenaline rush of the unknown in a one off. The sheer intense newness of it all, with a man joining us for the first time, naked and stiff.

Then there's the fun we've had at clubs where there's an attraction, an empty playroom, and some good sex with a stranger.

We've also enjoyed a few regular friends.

As we get older we've found we prefer a regular friend (or two).

What's interesting about this post is the number of "regulars" far exceed the "one-offs".

Despite the need for multiple sexual partners and excitement, most people seem to prefer the same, or oftentimes one sexual partner when they have experimented with several.

Maybe the natural state for women especially is a strong preference for monogamy or familiarity.

But how do you achieve that when its difficult to pair-bond with one partner in a vanilla sense after you have sampled the delights of swinging.

Find it fascinating, that's for sure.
